My Film Pitch follows a conventional Horror narrative, featuring the common supernatural sub-genre
as well as the inclusion of religious elements and Satanism. I have included a lot of horror
iconography such as; blood, candles and darkness, as well as used a spirit as one of the main
characters (and antagonists) since my target audience survey concluded that most people associate
all of these things with horror films therefore making my own more realistic. The reference to the
past also contributes to this, as this is an era associated with horror, due to the idea of old being
perceived as spooky and scary. In order to create my opening, I decided to use just one location in
order to separate the act in 1917 from the present happenings of today in the film, the one location
will also make it easier for me to shoot.
