S U M M A R Y
I strongly emphasize the development of the skills students need to be successful in
the work place: collaboration, synthesizing information, and solid communication
skills. The power in providing teachers and administrators with relevant and
engaging professional development cannot be overstated in helping students
develop these skills. I strive to advance the tools that can shape a schools vision
and, by extension, the quality of education the students are receiving. My life goal is
to one day deliver a TedTalks on improving education on a national level.
E X P E R I E N C E
Drive development of all STEM content and curriculum by establishing project specifications,
setting benchmarks, and tracking project goals
Supervise team of STEM-based subject matter experts and independent contractors in
developing original, accurate, and engaging content, aligned to state and national standards
Implement individual and group performance plans to increase productivity and to
consistently meet deadlines
Design and deliver professional development sessions using research-based methods and
tailored to the specific needs of a client
Successfully manage a project centered on Open Educational Resources (OER) while
maintaining and developing strong relationships and communication with school district
stakeholders
Managed the analysis, design, and development of original science curricula for schools based
upon learning goals, performance objectives, and learning objectives while maintaining
alignment with state standards, educational initiatives, and unique district needs
Conducted performance analysis with clients to determine student needs and facilitate the
creation of assessments and rubrics modeled in alignment with state standards
Find, vet, and develop digital OERs (Open Educational Resources)
Produce scope and sequence documents listing the standards-aligned lesson objectives
Work closely with clients to elicit feedback and implement recommendations
Science/Public Speaking teacher at an AEDY school for grades 6-12
Responsible for writing and implementing a projects-based science curriculum including
chemistry, biology, general science,STEM, and Public Speaking.
Implementing and maintaining a PBIS school-wide behavior plan.
Follow all IEP requirements and attend meetings as necessary.
