Importance of choosing the correct font type?

It is important to choose the correct font for the correct genre of the
production. This way the audience is able to have an insight to what
genre the documentary will be based on.

Credits
As the editor I was adding the credits so I made sure the consistency
of the font used for credits was the same for all. This way the
documentary come across as professional especially for the older
target audience aged 25 and over.

Significant of white title

The color white of the title is white and the background white, for
the audience to make their own predictions of what the
documentary would be about. However, in our production we had
shown the title Sliding doors half way into the documentary to
build suspense of what the documentary is called. To build this
suspense we had used cutaways. By the time the title is shown the
audience would have had an idea of what the documentary is based
on.

Font used
The font that we had used for the credits was HELVETICA NEUE, I
had chosen this for the credits as is easy to read and fits the genre
of the documentary and makes it look professional. I had also used a
drop shadow and made font bold to make the credits stand out
better.
