VCL-MX Version 6 - Installing GUI (Graphical User Interface)
Introduction
The VCL-MX Version 6-NMS GUI is designed to assist the user in configuring the VCL-MX Version 6-NMS
system, locally, through a serial RS232 / USB (COM port), or remotely using TELNET over TCP/IP link.
It also lets the user monitor multiple units (up to 2000 units) in real time and alerts the users in the event of
any alarms by receiving and monitoring the SNMP traps.
To start the GUI, first, connect the equipment to a PC through a serial (RS232 or USB port), or through its
10/100BaseT port and then open the GUI.
The following authentication window will appear:
There are 11 regions defined. The following are given below:

1. Default 2. Sector-01 3. Sector-02 4. Sector-03
5. Sector-04 6. Sector-05 7. Sector-06 8. Sector-07
9. Sector-08 10. Sector-09 11. Sector-10
Every sectors have three layer security with default user name and password.
Default system User Name and Password are:

Super User
User Name: admin
Password : admin
The 'Super User' has the full control over GUI.
User
User Name: user
Password : user
The 'Normal User' is a limited access user.
Operator
User Name: operator
Password : operator
The 'Operator' is a limited access user.
If we go through the 'Default' region we can add the nodes to any region and access all the nodes available in the
network. However if we go with any particular region we can not modify or access the nodes available with
another region.

Change Password
To change the password of the user of any particular region click on 'Change Password'.
The following window will appear:
Press Close to go back to Main Window.
Forgot password
To retrieve the password of the user of any particular region click on 'Forgot Password'.
Only administrator can retrieve the password of any user.

To retrieve the user's password administrator need to enter the self password for the verification.
If the authentication is allowed, a user window will appear then select the user name to retrieve the
password. The selected user's password will prompt on the screen.

After successful login, the following window will appear:
Note: 1. Please check and make sure that the equipment is properly connected to a PC either
through the serial (RS232 or USB port), or through the 10/100BaseT port.
2. Please use factory supplied RS232 cable (DB9 to DB9) ,USB Cable or Ethernet cable
provided with the system.
Note: All GUI screens shall not become active until a live system is detected.
Add/Remove System
Next, go to 'Communication' menu given on top of the GUI and choose 'Add/Remove System' to add
a new system.
Click on Add/Remove System.

Add
Now click 'New' and Fill-up the COM Port, IP address, System Name, System Location, system status and
Region name details and Click 'Add' to add the system in the GUI.
Note: Please check and make sure that the IP address and COM port details are correct.
Ping
Ping (Packet Inter Net Groper) is a computer network tool used to test whether a particular host is reachable
across an IP network; it is also used to self test the network interface card of the computer, or as a latency
test. It works by sending ICMP "echo request" packets to the target host and listening for ICMP "echo
response" replies.
If the system is reachable the 'Ping Success' will appear on the screen other wise 'Ping Fail' will appear.
Please press Close button to close this windows and come back to main window.
To Delete a system from the GUI database
Please select the equipment S. No. from the drop-down menu and press 'Remove' button to remove
the equipment permanently from the GUI along with its configuration data.

To 'Edit Region Name and System Information' in the GUI database
To make the any changes in system entry, first click the 'Edit' button at the top to enter in 'Edit' menu.
To modify the region name enter the region name against the region name.
Next, make the necessary changes in the entries.
Next, click the 'Save' button at the bottom to save the changes and then, click on Close button to close the
window. The current record will be updated.
Cancel
If you have clicked 'New' to add a system but you want to cancel that operation, then click 'Cancel'.
The list will get refreshed automatically.
Communication
Serial Port Communication
To access the system through the local RS232 / USB (COM) Port
To communicate with the system you have to make a connection with the system either through TCP/IP or
COM/USB Port.
To select RS232 / USB serial COM Port or TCP/IP Winsock, go to 'Communication > New Session '.

Click on 'New Session'. The following window will appear:
Select the desired COM (RS232 / USB) Port that is in use from the drop down menu
Next, select the COM/USB option.

A message "COM X is selected" will be displayed.
Click 'OK'after selecting the correct choice.

The following login page will be displayed:
Enter the desired 'User Name' and 'Password' and click 'Submit' to login.
Default User Name and Password are:
Super User Normal User

User Name: superuser User Name: systemuser
Password : superuser Password : systemuser
Note:
1. User name and password are case sensitive.
2. Please check Decrypt Password option to view the unmasked password.
Telnet Communication
To access the system through telnet
To access the system remotely over Telnet, please check and make sure that the equipment is connected
properly through Ethernet cable.
To access the system remotely, select the 'TCP/IP Winsock'.

The following window shall appear:
Note: The Factory Default IP Address of the System is 192.168.1.101. To change the IP address, please
connect the system with the COM port using RS232 / USB cable provided with the system and then go to
Settings>OAM Settings>IP Settings.
Important Security Note:
It may become necessary for the user to change/assign the System IP Address according to their network
requirements. For security reasons and in compliance with the GR-815-CORE password protection
requirements, it is not permitted to change the IP address, remotely, over the IP link / 10/100BaseT Ethernet
Port. Please connect the system with the COM port using RS232 / USB cable provided with the system and
then go to Settings>OAM Settings>IP Settings to change the IP address.
Next, click 'OK'. The following login page will be displayed:
Enter the 'User Name' and 'Password' Next, click 'Submit'.

Default system User Name and Password are:
Normal User
User Name : systemuser

Password : systemuser
Note:
1. User name and password are case sensitive.
2. Please check Decrypt Password option to view the unmasked password.
3. superuser cannot access the system over Telnet.

End Session
To end the communication with current equipment, please go to Communication tab and click End
Session.
User Management Configuration
Important Security Note

For security reasons only system administrator (superuser) can add or delete an user and change the IP
Address of the equipment.
To configure the user access profile, go to 'OAM Card Settings>OAM Settings.

Add an User
Note: For security reasons only system administrator (superuser) can add or delete an user and change
the password of any user.
Click on 'Add/Delete User' to create a new user. The following window will appear:
Enter 'User Name', 'Password' and then click 'Add' to add a new user in the system access management.
Delete an User
To Remove / delete an user please enter the UserName of the user and click on Remove button to delete
an user from system access management (Password is not required).
Note: Only normal users may be deleted from the system access management and superuser cannot be
deleted.

Change Password (Super User Only)
Note: For security reasons only system administrator (superuser) can add or delete a user and change
the password of any user.
Please enter the User Name of the user for whom the password needs to be changed and enter
NEW Password in Password option.
Next, Please click on Change Password to change the password of any user (excluding super user
password).
Press Close button to go back to OAM Settings Window.
Change Password (Self Password Any user)
Note: It is strongly recommended that all users must assign themselves a new password, after their
account has been created and after a user name and password assigned to them by the system
administrator (superuser).
Click on 'Change Self Password' to change the password of logged in user.

The following window will appear
Enter 'Old Password', 'New Password' and re-enter the new password in 'Retype Password' field and
then click 'Set' to change the password of logged in user in the system access management.
Press Close button to go back to OAM settings window.
Show Users
Click on 'OAM Setting in View Settings field.

The following window will appear
Please select Users from drop down menu and click on submit button to view the registered users in
system access management as shown in above screen shot.
Press Close button to go back to OAM Settings window.
OAM Card Configuration
IP Settings
In the OAM Settings window click on IP Settings to configure IP Setting as shown in below screen shot:

Important Security Note:

For security reasons only the system administrator (superuser) can change the IP Address, Subnet Mask,
Gateway and DNS address of the equipment. The system administrator (superuser) can only access the
unit through the local serial COM or USB Ports and cannot access the unit remotely through the
10/100BaseT Ethernet Port.
The following window shall appear, after clicking the IP Settings:
This window will show current system management 'IP Address', 'Subnet Mask', 'Gateway Address',
DNS 1 Address and 'DNS 2 Address.
To change any configuration, enter the desired value and click on corresponding Set button to change
configuration.
Note: Please update the subnet mask and gateway address whenever the IPAddress is changed.
Note: Please change the DNS Address 2 whenever DNS Address 1 is changed.
SNMP Configuration
To view and configure SNMP Community click on SNMP Community.

The above window will show current 'Read Community', 'Write Community', and 'SNMP Status.

SNMP Trap Settings
To view and configure SNMP Trap settings click on Trap Settings. The following window will appear:
The above window will show current 'Target IP Address 1 / 2 / 3, Target Community 1 / 2 / 3 and
Target Port 1 / 2 / 3 for SNMP Traps.

Change (Audit User) Log Password
To change the Audit User / Log password click on Change Log Password.
Enter the desired password and click 'Set to make all the changes effective in the equipment.
For security reasons only the system administrator (superuser) can change the Audit User Password.
Default Audit User Name and Password are:
Audit User
User Name: audituser

Password : audituser

Multi System (NMS) Monitoring
NMS: To monitor all systems on NMS Screen (from a single window)
To monitor the alarms of all the systems present in the network, go to 'Communication > Multi System
Network (IP Network)'.
Click on 'Multi System Monitor (IP Network)'. The following window will appear:
Note: The system ICON shall not become active (and shall remain grayed out) until the system is detected
on IP Network.
To stop the monitoring, click 'Stop Monitor' and to re-start monitoring, click 'Start Monitor'.
Color Code
The color of the button indicates the status of the alarms/system.

'Red' color indicates that the alarms are present in the system.
'Green' color indicates that no alarms are present.
'Grey' color indicates that the system, by this name, is not found / or is not communicating.
'Yellow' color indicates that the application is actively checking for the alarms for a particular system.
Note: To login in any system directly from the NMS screen, click the system ICON and enter the username
and password for that particular system.

Changing Trap Community and Port
To change the 'Trap Community and Port', please click Stop Monitor first.
Next, change the Community and / or Port given on top left side of the NMS screen.
Next, click 'Start Monitor' button to start listening for traps on NMS window.
View Log
View (Alarms) Log contains the details of all the traps received till date.
Search Alarms
User may search the alarms using Sender Name, Sender Location, Sender IP address, Severity, Date,
Time, Trap Description and Comment.
Modify Alarms
User can change the severity of the alarms. To change the severity and add the comment click on that
particular alarm. The following window will appear:
Note: Please clear the old alarms from this page, periodically, as may be required, to allow the new alarms
to explicitly stay visible.

Trap Details
To view the details of traps, go to 'Communication > Multi System Network (IP Network)'.
First, select the duration of traps that are to be viewed from the 'Alarm history' drop down list box at the
bottom of the page. Next, click the 'OK' button. The selected traps will appear in the list.
Clear Trap list

To remove traps present in the list view.
Print Traps
To print (physical copy) all the traps present in the list view.
Export Traps
To export the traps from the list view in the format (Text file and MS-Excel).
Traps Graph
To view the graphical display of alarms click on 'Traps Graph' command button. The following window will
appear:
Press Close to go back to NMS screen and press Close again to go back to Main Window.

Shelf Configuration
To view Shelf Configuration of the system click on 'Configuration > Shelf Configuration'.
Two slots are reserved for 1+1 redundant control cards which includes the redundant cross connect,
processor, TSI and clock synchronization / timing functions.
System Alarms
To view the System Alarms Details, click on 'Alarms Detail' button. The following window will appear:

This window will show current System Alarms i.e. 'SYNC', 'LOS, Frame Loss, AIS, RA, CRC4,
LOMF, CRC Errors, 10E6 Errors, 10 E3 Errors'.
Please select the Card No. from the drop down menu and select E1 port in Port drop down box.
Note:
10E6 shows ES (Error Second) Alarm, 1 error in 1 million frames
10E3 shows SES (Severally Error Seconds) Alarms, 1 error in 1000 frames
Press Close to go back to NMS screen and press Close again to go back to Main Window.

System Configuration
Control Card Configuration
The Control Card may be installed in either a 1+0 or a redundant 1+1 configuration. In the redundant 1+1
configuration. To configure the control card of the system click on 'Settings > Control Card
Configuration'.
Click on Control Card Configuration. The following screen will appear:

Export:
This command shall copy the entire configuration of the Active Control Card to the Standby Control
Card / New Control Card. This command should be used when any control card has been replaced with a
completely new / completely un-configured control card in an already working system.
Click Export to copy the entire configuration of the Active Control Card to the Standby Control Card /
New Control Card.
Update:
This command shall only selectively update configuration of the INACTIVE Control Card so that it
matches the configuration of the ACTIVE Control Card. This command should be used when any Control
Card has been temporarily removed and then re-inserted in an already working system.
Click Update to selectively update configuration of the INACTIVE Control Card.
Verify:
This command verifies that the exported / copied configuration has been correctly transferred from the
Active Control Card to the Standby Control Card. This command must always be used after either the
cc/config/export, or the cc/config/update commands have been executed to verify the correctness of the
transferred configuration file.
Click Verify to verify that the exported / copied configuration has been correctly transferred from the
Active Control Card to the Standby Control Card.
Clock Settings
To set or to make changes in the clock settings go to 'Settings>Clock Settings'.
Click on 'Clock Settings'.

The above window will show current Clock Priority and External Clock Option.
Select the desired System Synchronization Clock priority options, and click on corresponding 'Set button
to make the changes effective in the equipment.
Up to five System Clock Synchronization Priorities can be assigned. Configure system clock
synchronization priority as required (Priority 1-5).
In case first clock source is not available the system shall automatically synchronize to the second selected
/ available clock source and so on. Lastly, the clock reverts to Internal clock source.

Miscellaneous Settings
To set or to make changes in the Alarm Relay and to detect card go to 'Settings>Miscellaneous'.
To change any configurations select/enter configuration, Change the Configuration and click on
corresponding 'Set button to make the changes effective in the equipment.

E1/Optical Card Configuration
To make changes in the E1 Card settings go to 'Settings>E1 Card Settings.
The above window will show current E1 card Frame', Loop back, Line Code, CAS, Alarm,
CRC4 settings.

Optical Card Settings

To make changes in the Optical Card settings go to 'Settings>Optical Card Settings.
The above window will show current Optical Card Settings Frame, Add/Remove User, Loop Back,
Clear Error, Receive Mode, CAS, Alarms, CRC4.

Optical SFP Settings

To make changes in the Optical SFP settings go to 'Settings>Optical SFP Settings.
The above window will show current Optical SFP Settings Laser, SFP Warm, SFP Alarm, ALS
Mode, ALS Restart Mode, ALS Pulse Interval, ALS Pulse Width, ALS Restart Pulse.

Voice / Data Card Configuration

FXO Card Settings
To make changes in the FXO Card settings go to 'Settings>FXO Card Settings
The above window will show current FXO Card Settings Loop Back', Law, Signaling Loop Back,
Receive Gain, Operation, Data Loop Back, Transmit Gain.
To change any configurations select/enter configuration, Change the Configuration and click on 'Set to
make the changes effective in the equipment.

FXS Card Settings

To make changes in the FXS Card settings go to 'Settings>FXS Card Settings.
The above window will show current FXS Card Settings Loop Back', Law, Signaling Loop Back,
Receive Gain, Operation, Data Loop Back, Transmit Gain.

Hot Line Card Settings

To make changes in the Hot Line Card settings go to 'Settings>Hot Line Card Settings.
Click on 'Hot Line Card Settings. The following window will appear:
The above window will show current Hot Line Card Settings Receive Gain, Transmit Gain, Codec,
Operation, Channel Loop Back, Card Loop Back, Signaling Loopback.

ENM Card Settings:

To make changes in the ENM Card settings go to 'Settings>ENM Card Settings.
The above window will show current ENM Card Settings Receive Gain, Transmit Gain, Codec,
Operation, Channel Loop Back, Card Loop Back, Signaling Loop Back.

RS232 Card Settings

To make changes in the RS232 Card settings go to 'Settings>RS232 Card Settings.
The above window will show current RS232 Card Settings Data Loop Back, Signal Loopback.

64 Kbps Data Card Settings

To make changes in the 64 Kbps Card settings go to 'Settings>64 Kbps Data Card Settings.
The above window will show current 64 Kbps Card Settings Set Default Interface Type , Clock,
Receive Clock, Transmit Clock, Control Signal, Loop Back, Data Loopback.

N*64 Data Card Settings

To make changes in the N*64 Data Card settings go to 'Settings>N*64 Data Card Settings.
Click on 'N*64 Data Card Settings'. The following window will appear:
The above window will show current 64 Kbps Card Settings Set Default Interface Type , Set Interface
Type, Set N, Clock, Receive Clock, Transmit Clock, Control Signal, Mode, DTE Buffer,
Channel Loop Back, Card Loop Back, Signal Loop Back.

G703 Card Settings

To make changes in the G703 Card settings go to 'Settings>G703 Card Settings.
The above window will show current G703 Card Settings Alarms, G703 Function 1, G703 Function 2,
Channel Loop Back, Card Loop Back, Signaling Loop Back.

AIO Card Settings

To make changes in the AIO Card settings go to 'Settings>AIO Card Settings
The above window will show current AIO Card Settings Output Holding Delay, Input Sampling Delay,
Output Level, Input Level, Card Loop Back, Signaling Loop Back.

TP Card Settings
To make changes in the TP Card settings go to 'Settings>TP Card Settings.
The above window will show current C37.94 TP Card Settings Alarms, TP Function 1, TP Function 2,
Card Loop Back, Signaling Loop Back.

Ethernet Card Settings

To make changes in the Ethernet Card settings go to 'Settings>Ethernet Card Settings.
The above window will show current Ethernet Card Data Loopback', Signal Loopback,
Mac Address, Data Speed, settings.

TP4 Card Settings-1

To make changes in the TP4 Card settings go to 'Settings>TP4 Card Settings-1.
The above window will show current TP4 Card Set Remote ID', Input Level, RTC, Set Local ID,
Deactivation Delay and Output Level settings.

TP4 Card Settings-2

To make changes in the TP4 Card settings go to 'Settings>TP4 Card Settings-2.
The above window will show current TP4 Card Sampling Time, Set Display, Clear, Combine
Command, Manual Test, Holding Time, Logging, Auto Loop Test and Operating Mode
settings.

TP4 Counter Display

To make changes in the TP4 Counter Display go to 'Settings>TP4 Counter Display.
The above window will show current TP4 Counter Display Relay' and Clear Counter, settings.

Mapping / Unmapping
Mapping / Making a Cross-Connect
To make changes in the Mapping / Cross-Connect settings go to 'Settings>Mapping.
There are two methods to MAP the Voice / data cards (Create Cross-Connect):
1. Map Single
2. Map Range
Map Single / Make Single DS0 Cross-Connect

To MAP a single cross connect at DS0 timeslot level, Please select Map Single option and click on
'Mapping'. The following window will appear:
The above window will show Slots, Port Numbers and Unmapped Time Slots.
To Create a cross-connect, first select the Slot No., Port No., T Slot (Time Slots) of the E1 / Optical Card
given in the left hand side and then select the Slot No., Port No., T Slot (Time Slots) of the destination
Interface Card given in the right hand side.
Next, Click on OK button to add the configuration in the data base window given in lower half of the Single
Mapping window.

Once the mapping procedure is finished, please click Submit button to download the mapping
configuration in the equipment. A window will popup upon successful completion with the message
Process Complete.
Press Close to go back to Mapping / Unmapping Window.
Map Range (To Create Multiple Cross-connect)
To MAP a multiple cross connect, Please select Map Range option and click on 'Mapping'.

To Create a cross-connect, first select the Slot No., Port No., Time Slots (Range) of the Source Card
given in the left hand side and then select the Slot No., Port No., Time Slots (Range) of the
destination Interface Card given in the right hand side.
Please click Submit button to download the mapping configuration in the equipment. A window will
popup upon successful completion with the message Process Complete.
Tele Protection Card Mapping
In the C37.94 Optical Tele Protection Card, there are three optional modes as shown in above window.

1. Min (08) Time Slot

2. Max (08-13) Time Slots
3. Full (02-31) Time Slots
To Create a cross-connect, first select the Slot No., Port No., Time Slots (Range) of the Source Card
given in the left hand side and then select the Slot No., Port No., Mode Time Slots (Range) of the
destination Interface Card given in the right hand side.
Please click Submit button to download the mapping configuration in the equipment.
A window will popup upon successful completion with the message Process Complete.
Unmapping
To unmap cross-connects, please click on 'Unmapping'. The following window will appear:
The above window will show current mapping configuration. There are 2 methods to unmap the cross-
connects.
1. All time slots of Selective Port (E1 / Optical Card only) - To unmap the whole port selected in the left
hand side.
2. All time Slots in List (One by One from the list) To unmap the selective cross-connectes given in
the lower half of the window.
Please click Submit button to download the mapping configuration in the equipment. A window will popup
upon successful completion with the message Process Complete.
Show Mapping
To configure the equipment in default settings go to 'View>Show Mapping.

The above window will show the current Mapping Configuration of the equipment.
To view or show the equipment configurations select the option, select the Slot Number, Select Port
Number and click on 'Submit.
Reset
To reset the equipment or slot go to 'Settings>Reset'.

To reset the equipment select the system option and click on Set button.
To reset particular slot select the slot option and select the slot number from drop down menu and click
on Set button.
Real Time Clock (RTC) Settings
To set the Date and Time in the systems internal clock, go to 'Settings>RTC Settings'.

The above window will show current Day, Date and Time settings of the equipment
You may also set the date and time of the equipment by synchronizing it to your PCs data and time by
clicking the 'Sync with PC' button. The system shall automatically update its date and time information
from the PC.
Set Default
Note: Set Default resets the system to its original factory default settings.
To configure the equipment in default settings go to 'Settings>Set Default'.

Here, the user may set to Factory Default, the following:

Day, Date and Time Clock (RTC)
Equipment
Or the settings of any voice or data interface card in a particular slot. To change any configurations click
on corresponding 'Set Default button to make the changes effective in the equipment.
Signalling
Note: Under normal operating conditions, the users are advised not to change the signaling of the system
from its Original / Default Signaling settings. Custom Signaling option must only be used if the user
needs to connect the VCL-MX V6, Multiplexer directly to a Switch (with known CAS Signaling bits).
To configure Custom Signaling, go to 'Settings>Signalling'.

The above window will show the current signaling of the equipment.
To change configurations, Change the Configuration and click on 'Submit to make the changes effective in
the equipment.
Click on Set Default Signaling restores the system to its original factory default signaling settings.

System Queries
To configure the equipment in default settings go to 'View>System Queries'.
To view or show the equipment configurations select the option, select the query, select the Slot Number /
Port Number and click on 'Submit. Press Close to go back to Main Window.
Trip Counter Display
To view the Trip Counter Display go to 'View>Trip Counter Display.
It show the Trip Counter Display values.


Save Configuration To File and Load Configuration To System

Save Configuration To File
It may become necessary for the user to backup and store / archive the system configuration at a location
outside the system.
To backup and save the system configuration, please use the 'Save Configuration To file' facility available
in the GUI.
After the system configuration has been completed and downloaded in the system, please use the 'Save
Configuration To file' facility available in the GUI to back-up and save the existing system configuration
using the 'Save Configuration To file ' facility provided in the GUI.
The system configuration is saved as a Microsoft Access file as a *.mdb file. The file may be archived for
further use, at a later date to restore the configuration of an existing system, or to program a new system
with the configuration saved in this Backup file.
To take the backup of all the settings, go to File > Save Configuration To file.
Click on 'Save Configuration To file'. The following window will appear:
Here you can schedule the back of any node.

You can take backup as per your requirement as Instant, Hourly, Daily and Weekly.
To take backup, click on particular schedule and click on backup button.
By default backup is stored in the application folder.

Load Configuration To System

To restore the system configurations form an existing or a previously archived (*.mdb) configuration file,
please use the 'Load Configuration To System' facility available in the GUI. The 'Load Configuration To
System' facility available in the GUI, may be used to either restore the configuration of an existing system,
or to program a new system from an existing (previously archived and stored) configuration file.
To restore the settings from the backup file, go to 'File > Load Configuration To System'.
Click on 'Load Configuration To System'. The following window will appear:
First click 'Open File'. A dialog box will appear. Select the 'Backup' file.
Next, click 'Submit' to start the restore process.

Retrieve Configuration
The configuration of any existing system may be extracted / retrieved into the GUIs data base using the
'Retrieve Configuration' facility in the GUI.
The 'Retrieve Configuration' facility allows the user to retrieve the configuration of an existing and working
system by using the 'Retrieve Configuration' facility in the GUI.
Once the system configuration has been retrieved, the user may save and archive the configuration using
the 'Backup' utility in the GUI.
To synchronize the system, go to 'File menu and select 'Retrieve Configuration'.
Click 'Yes' to start the process.

The purpose of synchronization is to update the database with the current settings in the system.
A window will popup upon successful completion with the message Process Complete.
Security Logs (HTTP Server)
The system is equipped with a Security Feature which allows the Security Auditor to track all users
who may have accessed the system recently.
To view the log details of the users who may have logged into the system using SSH, Telnet, Serial Port
go to Help>Security Log File'.

Enter the IP Address to view the LOG details of the particular system and click on OK.
Enter the 'User Name' and 'Password' and click 'OK' button.
Default Audit User Name and Password are:
Audit User
User Name : audituser
Password : audituser
Note: User name and password is case sensitive.

After successful authentication the following window will appear:
The Security Log would provide the user names, IP addresses, MAC addresses of all user who may have
accessed the system, remotely over a TCP/IP link using Telnet or SSH.
The Security Log would, however, provide only the user names of all such users who may have accessed
the system, locally through the systems serial COM / USB port.
The Security Log may be downloaded by the Security Auditor (i.e. the audituser) and opened in
Microsoft Word Pad to view the security log files in their proper formatting.
System Information
About
To view the Software Version and Firmware version go to Help>About'.
Click on About. The following window will appear:

Hardware Compatibility
To view the GUI Version and Firmware version compatibility go to Help>Compatibility'.
If the GUI is compatible with the system hardware / firmware - the following window will appear:
Press Close to go back to Main Window
Close Application
To log-out from the system, go to 'File menu and then select the Exit' option.
Click on 'Exit' to disconnect.
