GROUP MURAL
DUE:_________________

OBJECTIVE:
This project is meant to form out of an organic group discussion. You
will develop an understanding of what it means to work collaboratively,
while also being independently invested in a visual project. This model of
working can be observed when artists are working in commercial
photography or on commission.

PROCEDURE: This procedure will be instructor directed, but is subject to

change based on the needs of the student artists involved. If needed we may
take an extra day to shoot, discuss or evaluate. This is a basic break down of
what the schedule will look like:
1. Review theatrical and photo manipulation examples
2. Look at new Photoshop skills
3. Visit the costume shop and review the space for the mural
4. Brainstorm as a group
5. Take lots of photographs
6. Begin to manipulate/ collage imagery
7. Print 3 photos @ 8.5x11 discuss as a group and begin to form a final
mural
8. Print final image at 8.5x11 and evaluate as a group
9. Print final image for the mural
