from a proven track Cape is the largest employer of access and insulation
record in delivering labour in the UK industrial services market. We
currently maintain 70% of the UKs coal and oil-fired
local solutions power generation capacity and 87% of nuclear
generation capacity. Together these provide nearly
half of the countrys total power output. Our offshore
business currently provides fabric maintenance and
deck handling services at 24 manned installations
and up to 60 unmanned installations. Cape DBI, our
industrial cleaning business unit, recently received
the RoSPA Gold Award for Safety. This reinforces our
drive to deliver safer and more cost-effective technical
cleaning solutions, through the efficient application of
semi-automated equipment.

from strength to strength. Last year, 4.3 million man
hours were recorded without a Lost Time Incident
(LTI). Weve repeated the excellent safety performance
on the Karachaganak site in Aksai, Kazakhstan and
once again have been awarded the General Directors
Annual Award as Best Contractor HSE Practice. Cape
also holds a substantial inventory of 16,000 tonnes of
access equipment throughout the region.

We have been operating in the region for over 30 years,
achieving significant sales growth which has almost
tripled in the last three years. In addition to the ISO 9001
quality standard, the regions accreditations include
ISO 14001 (environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (health
and safety).
Public recognition for the quality of Capes work in
the region has recently included HSE Contractor of
the Year from GASCO, Ruwais, Best Contractor from
Bapco, Best Contractor Safety Award from Qatar
Petrochemical Company and a Certificate of Excellence

hours without a single LTI in the last year. On the
Pluto LNG project in Thailand, Cape contributed an
impressive 2 million man hours without an LTI to the
projects overall 29 million safe working hours. Capes

provided service solutions to the mining industry for
over 25 years. We have one of the largest stocks

In-house design
Capes highly qualified design engineers draw up bespoke design schemes to the highest technical standard, in accordance
with international requirements and the clients own safety standards. Our intelligent systems provide safe and highly flexible
workface access. Where required, they can be designed for access systems, reducing site congestion as well as removal
and replacement downtime.

employees receive regular safety training in the format they can

dedicated CapeSafe brand, we aim to ensure that
all our people in 28 countries are working towards
the same Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)
goals. We have also introduced Golden Rules:
a concise statement of our HSE principles that is
