Learning Experience: Sorting 3D Shapes
I am organizing a child-directed learning experiment in which children
will have the opportunity to sort shapes to the correct sheets.
Objectives:
1. The children will practice the skill of (4.10) sorting objects,
pictures, and things into groups
2. The children will enhance the skill of (4.10) comparing, matching
and sorting according to common properties
3. The children will demonstrate (4.10) moving from random
classification to classifying by one and then two or more
properties
Materials:
- Coloured 3D Shapes (red, green, blue)
- Sheets with labelled colours
Implementation:
1. I will set up the table with the shapes in the center and the
labelled sheets around
