Application Example
The LightStack GSLAM is a highly scalable service delivery platform that can be deployed in point to point, linear add/drop, multi-node
rings and in concert with the LightStack MXA and/or the LightStack MX. The GSLAM can serve as host for up to 8 LightStack MX
elements or 64 remote LightStack MXAs across multiple rings. Typically, LightHandler PCs are used for ITU-channel optical add/drop,
and LightHandler OAs may be employed where optical amplification is required. Both the LightStack MXA and GSLAM provide gateway
network element functionality for all hosted elements with the entire network managed by the LightStack NCS.
