I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Grace Kasemeier, senior student at Santa
Susana High School. I have known Grace for over fifteen years and have watched her mature and grow
into the phenomenal young woman she has become.

Grace has always been a strong and creative force in whatever setting she is in. As a student at the small
private school where I served as school administrator, Grace was a strong learner and an active
participant in her learning. She has a thirst for knowledge and looks beyond what needs to be known for
a test or assignment, but rather into how the subject relates to her and how she can integrate its
concepts into her own experience.

Coming from a family of artists, she carries the baton of creativity with a fearlessness and (shall I say)
grace that makes it a pleasure to work with her. I have had the joy of directing Grace in various
productions during the years I have known her and she always brings fresh ideas, an interesting
viewpoint, and a willingness to try. She has a wonderful presence on stage that works well with both
protagonist and antagonist roles, and carries herself with confidence and bearing.

I am sure that Grace will be a great success in whatever creative field she applies herself to and I look
forward to seeing what the years ahead bring for her.
