Subject: Standard Operating Procedure
Title: Standard Operating Procedure discipline action against MBA students for breaking
rules and regulations.
1. PURPOSE:
1.1 The purpose of this procedure is to lay down the discipline actions to be taken at
various level of misconduct by MBA students.

4.1 Instructing the students about the various rules and regulations decided by the
institute.
4.3 Handing over the authorities to respective people (Teachers, HoD,etc) for taking
actions depending on the level of misconduct.
4.6 Institute is authorized to rusticate the student for serious level of misconduct.

5. Discipline in Campus:-
5.1 Under disciplinary action, the principal is empowered to fine, suspend or even expel a
student from the college in the interests of the institution.
5.2No function shall be arranged by the students in the hostel or college campus without prior
permission from the principal
5.3Writing on walls, pillars, bath rooms, furniture or black boards is strictly prohibited.
6.2If found guilty of ragging student will be rusticated from college and further legal actions
can be taken by the trust or respective authority.
7. Discipline in Hostel:-
7.1Inmates of the hostels should strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the hostels. A
declaration to this effect should be signed at the time of admission.
7.2. The Warden / Dy. Warden shall act as the local guardian of the inmates of the hostel.
7.3. No student is permitted to leave the hostel without the consent of parents and without
permission from the Warden.
7.4. While going outside the hostel premises, the inmates should maintain discipline and their
behaviour and conduct should be impeccable so as to keep up the honour and prestige of the
College. If there is any complaint against any of the inmates regarding his / her misbehaviour,
severe disciplinary action will be taken, which may even lead to expulsion from the Hostel or
College.
7.5. The principal is vested with powers to regulate the hostel admission assisted by the
respective wardens and to enforce general discipline in the hostels. Admission may be refused
to any student seeking the same, and any inmate may be dismissed without assigning reason,
if they indulge with any gross misbehaviour.

Students must take special care of the College furniture, fittings, stores, equipment and other
properties kept at their disposals. Any shortages, breakages, damage or loss shall be reported
immediately to College authorities.
Library
The Library will operate in accordance with the current Library Rules and Regulations agreed
by the College authorities. These rules are issued to students upon arrival at the College.
