To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing this letter of recommendation in support of Ms. Ashley Prindle, I was one of
her professors at Rivier University in her Masters Degree program in special education
with a concentration on ASD and the IEP Process.

In the capacity of a graduate student, she worked effectively, with care and attention to
detail. When faced with a challenging task, Ms. Prindle worked to become better
informed and develop her level of competency. At the start of the program, she expressed
limited experience accessing research journals to inform her instructional practice; by the
end of the program she was sending articles to me and seeking to review and discuss the
work. She demonstrated the ability to write and perform her own Discrete Task Trials,
develop the correct data tools and analyze her data using quarterly intersects to delineate
the trend lines. She does not require a computer or IPad to perform her teaching, because
she has developed the needed foundation knowledge in the areas of learning theory and
human development. As a graduate student, she completed her work on time,
communicated clearly and effectively, and demonstrated strong knowledge. As a fellow
educator I want to highlight that she possesses an innate understanding and respect for
students that we all choose to teach; book knowledge is important but here is an unnamed
quality of a good teacher; the quality of being able to see the person beyond the
impairment and respect each childs struggles and successes. Ms. Prindle has the ability
to value and respect students, their parents and fellow faculty; the foundation of respect
allows her to work with the necessary perspective that teachers must use to learn from
our errors and adapt when needed.

I recommend Ms. Prindle for a teaching position without reservation. Any district would
be quite fortunate to have this talented and dedicated teacher in their system. She is a
well-respected, effective and an efficient worker who is calm in crisis, productive,
communicative and professional. If I had the option, I would hire her to work in our
program. Please feel free to contact me at (603) 594-4322, if I can be of any future
assistance.

Respectfully,
