Philosophy of Teaching

Teaching is a challenging role in this world, because your not always there to teach them but
to raise them to be a good person. For the past 3 years of studying Education, I assured that my
personal growth in teaching is progressive and I am so grateful, i already embrace this
profession even though it is not my chosen profession. I also learned to loved this profession for
the past 3 years. During my experiences in field study was very interesting and memorable, truly
that teaching is not easy, based on my observation but despite of their problems and worries
they never give up they keep working hard because they loved what they are doing and
enjoying their journey of teaching, so I am truly inspired to them and I am so excited to teach
and accept the fact that this my calling.

REFLECTION

The best teacher is teaching from the heart and not from the book
This is what Ive learned during my Field study 4, this quote reflects to me because if you
do not have a heart or passion when your teaching you will never be an effective teacher. Truly
that you need to be passionate of what you are doing in teaching because we are not there to
teach them but also we are their as their second parents so we need to educate them with good
thoughts, words and in deeds. Based on my observation during field studies I noticed some of
teachers are not passionate of what they are doing and its not good to see them teaching,
definitely their students are not learning, but I also observed some teachers are passionate of
what they are teaching, they show me how to loved his/her students how they will learned
despite of their naughty and noisy, how to help them in times of problems, how to advised them
of what they have done. Definitely I salute those kind of characteristics of teachers, truly that
they deserved to call them a Hero because they not only a teacher but also a true parents, and
I liked to imitate their values like that, even though this is not my chosen profession I tried my
best to teach them with all my heart.
