SUGGESTED POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES RELATIVE TO PEACE AND

ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY

a. Provide a forum for dialogue and deliberation of major issues and problems affecting peace
and order, including insurgency and terrorism to the Technical Working Group (TWG);

b. Recommend measures which will improve or enhance peace and order and public safety,
including anti-insurgency and anti-terrorism measures;

c. Recommend measures to converge and orchestrate internal security operation efforts of civil
authorities and agencies, military and police;

d. Make periodic assessments of the prevailing peace and order situation in the city;

e. To submit to the City Mayor an annual assessment of the prevailing peace and order of the
city.

f. Perform all other functions assigned by law.
