COORDINATOR ASSEMBLYMAINTENANCE PRACTICES

1. General
Coordinator maintenance includes removal and installation of the coordinator assembly and adjustment
of the control linkages (See Figure 201).
NOTE: Refer to Coordinator Rigging, para 2., 761001 for rigging procedures for the engine mounted
coordinator control linkages.
2. Replacement
A. Removal
Remove the coordinator assembly as follows:
(1) Remove the linkage from the following levers on the coordinator (See Figure 202).
(a) Input power lever (airframe linkage)
(b) Gas producer lever
(c) Power turbine governor lever
(d) Beta control lever
(e) Condition lever (airframe linkage)
(f) Inner propeller governor outrigger lever
(g) Fuel cutoff outrigger lever
(2) Remove two nuts which secure the coordinator to the aft support bracket.
(3) Remove one bolt and washer at each location and separate the coordinator support upper and
lower brackets from the coordinator support forward bracket.
(4) Remove the bolt, washer, and nut and separate the coordinator support bracket from the
propeller governor control cable LH bracket. Remove the coordinator.
B. Installation
Install the coordinator assembly on the engine as follows:
(1) Place the coordinator and bracket assembly on the engine.
(2) Attach the coordinator support bracket to the propeller governor control cable LH bracket using
a bolt, washer, and nut. Tighten nut to 3040 lb in. (3.44.5 N.m).
(3) Attach the coordinator support upper and lower brackets to the coordinator support forward
bracket using one bolt and washer at each location. Tighten bolts to 3040 lb in. (3.44.5
N.m).
(4) Secure the coordinator to the aft support bracket with two nuts. Tighten nut to 3040 lb in.
(3.44.5 N.m).
(5) Attach engine control linkages to the levers on the coordinator assembly. (Refer to
Coordinator Rigging, para 2., 761001.)
(6) Attach airframe linkage to the input power lever and to the condition lever of the coordinator
assembly.
