III. Learning Activities

A. Preparatory

1. Drill Review

The teacher presents picture of animals and let students name it.

Children will look at the picture above.

3. Setting of Standards

The teacher informs the class that they will be working in 2 big groups: Kinder
and Grade 1 groups.

The Kinder group will focus on Characteristics of Animals, while the Grade 1
Group will learn more about Animal Sounds.

Because they are going to have simultaneous activities, they will have to do
their tasks as quietly and orderly as possible.

The Teacher will ask the class to recite the classroom rules that they must
observe while doing the activities.
