Kent wanted to start a restaurant for all ages to have a

great meal, great fun, and a great price

Some franchises shut down because their owners could

not run them properly

With the higher rates in taxes, interest, fuel, etc., people

didnt have the money to go out and eat

This reduced their sales and prices they were able to

charge

Texas Roadhouse had to charge less and wasnt always

tipped
