To gain entrance into the field of special education, learn the
intricacies of the practice and share my compassion, knowledge
and experience with those in need.

Develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of students
with a variety of handicapping conditions.
Modify the general education curriculum for special-needs students,
based upon a variety of instructional techniques and technologies.
Teach socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as
behavior modification and positive reinforcement.
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and policies and
procedures to maintain order among students.
Instruct students in daily living skills required for independent
maintenance and self-sufficiency, such as hygiene, safety, and food

Help teachers with clerical aspects of teaching, such as keeping
class files in order, enforce school and classroom rules to maintain a
proper environment for learning

Help students with fundamental life skills, such as eating, drinking
and dressing
Assist mainstreamed special-needs students with lessons
Help non-English speaking students understand English instruction
and materials
Aide with overall learning activities with students that are mild,
moderate, and severely disabled.

Provide customers with pricing information and any special
discounts or promotions that the store is offering
Attach price tags to each item and make sure that they
reflect updated price information
Ensure that shelves are stocked properly and that all items
and shelves are dusted and cleaned periodically
