Multi-Screen NAGRA MEDIA CMS(CONTENT

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) (R&D)
The increasing demand for more programs and more interactive services
delivered across more devices requires service providers to organize and manage
their content with more efficient and effective tools and technology. NAGRA helps
service providers meet this challenge with the NAGRA Media Content Management
System (CMS) which is a centralized, versatile and flexible traffic control and
scheduling system, providing a comprehensive platform to manage content, from
acquisition to playout. Covering all aspects of content.
1) Gracenote EPG Data Import Service
Team Size : 5 in India
Duration : September 2011 June2012
Customer : Not Customer Specific.
Responsibilities :
Involved in the writing of JBPM Process Definition and gpd.
Involved in writing JBPM Action handlers and ESB related Configuration.
Involved in Coding of Gracenote API registration and usage to download EPG
data of Channels.
Involved in Coding of JBPM action classes to download images from Gracenote
EPG metadata.
Involved in XSL Transformation of EPG data using Smooks XSL transformation
and writing Drools decisions.
Involved in development of JUnit test cases for the modules.

2) Export NDS Service Reverse Electronic Program Guide(R-

Description : Delivery and processing of asset distribution interface
(ADI) metadata by the NDS VOD Asset Management (VAM).
Export VOD item from Nagra Media CMS to NDS VAM, convert NM CMS
vod metadata format to Cable Labs ADI 1.1 format and then Export
VOD items to the NDS VAM Using HTTP server, Managing Change
management system at NM CMS.
Responsibilities:
Part of the Scoping Analysis of Service.
Responsible for Designing BPMN Diagram for the Export NDS Service.
This service is divided into two processes ExportADIRunner and HTTPCall, I am
responsible for Designing and configuration of JBPM Process definition for
both.
Responsible for writing action classes for process.
Part of Integration and functionality testing.
 Environment: Java 1.6, SWINGS, JBPM, ESB, JMS, JPA (Hibernate 3.4),XSLT, XSD,
Drools Oracle 11g and Jboss ESB 4.2 , Content Ingestion Server , Kasenna Video
