not so.

Polythene is a carbon compound. It produces many health hazards. Calcium, which is a colour ingredient in polythene,
causes bone abnormalities and can damage the kidneys and arteries.

People working in polythene manufacturing industries suffer from skin and breathing problems. Animals suffer when
they consume polythene bags along with food. Some even die because of this.

Environmental hazards crop up as polythene is non-bio gradable. Air and water too get polluted because of this. We
must join hands to prevent our planet from being destroyed by this deadly menace.

Paper because of its tendency to degrade, low cost and attractions is the right replacement for plastic.
