3. Explain to the students how the consonant M can sound in
words.
Development- Story time: Monkeys miserable Monday by Valerie
Garfield. After the story the students will name pictures that begin
with the letter M.

Closing- The students will watch the following video:

Assessment- Hand out ABC worksheet and materials. Explain and
