Instruction to the Candidates

1. Candidates should check their Hall ticket, Subject code, Subject applied and other information and in case of any
discrepancy, it should immediately be reported to the Member Secretary, Teacher Recruitment Board, Chennai for necessary
action.

2. The reporting time of the candidates at the examination centres is 8:30 am

3. Frisking by police personnel will be done at the entrance of the examination centre. No candidate is allowed inside the exam
centre gate after 9:30 am

4. Candidates are instructed not to bring Calculators, Log tables, Communication devices like Cellular Phone, Pager etc to the
examination centre. Only the Hall ticket, Valid identification card with clear photograph and 2 black or blue Ball point pens are
allowed. If photograph is not clear, it leads to disqualification. Even handkerchief is not allowed.

5. Candidates should enter the examination hall at 9:30 am without fail, to make necessary entries in the OMR answer sheet
and attendance sheet.

6. Candidates are informed that they are provisionally admitted to this written examination, subject to the final decision of the
TRB on their eligibility for this recruitment.

7. No Candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall after 10:00 am. No Candidate will be allowed to leave the
examination hall during the examination.

8. Candidates should bring along with them only Blue / Black Ball point pen to fill up OMR answer sheet.

9. OMR Answer sheet should be carefully filled up as per instructions given in Question Booklet and on the OMR answer sheet.
The duplicate copy of the OMR given to the candidates after the examination should be retained till the selection process is
over.

10. If the OMR answer sheet is not properly filled as per instructions given including in the centre or wrongly filled, the OMR shall
be rejected.
