Learning Objectives/Outcomes
o Students will spend the first five minutes of class completing a short quiz
related to Fridays lesson.
o Students will listen to a PowerPoint lecture on the Canadian election process
and be required to record notes using their fill in the blanks sheet.
o Students will spend the remainder of class working on/finishing up an
assignment on government responsibilities (This assignment was distributed
at the end of last class).

PowerPoint lecture? (Assess on upcoming unit test and during upcoming
mock election).
o Could students manage their in-class work time wisely and produce an
assignment that demonstrates effort and understanding of the topic (Teacher
Observation; Assess Government Responsibilities Assignment).
