LIBERTY XL2 COCKPIT LAYOUT

The Eaglesoft Development Group Liberty Aerospace XL2 Cockpit Layout Manual is designed to
quickly orient the novice or experienced flight simulation pilot with an overview of the various
views and view controls available in the Liberty Aerospace XL2 model.

Note: For added realism we have substituted the use of Simicons in this model in favor of
clickable transparent Hotspots. The following pages will help users memorize the Hotspots
quickly.

Note: Throughout the cockpit most gauges allow the use of mouse wheel rolling to make
settings such as Altitude, Radio Tuning, etc.

PREFLIGHT GAUGE [PREFLIGHT GAUGE WINDOW]

1. Using keyboard command Shift+5 will display the Liberty Preflight Gauge. Clicking the
buttons on the preflight gauge toggles the display for the listed conditions.

View, Main 3D View, and various Popup Views as follows

The Liberty Aerospace XL2 Cockpit Popup Views are accessed by clicking the associated
transparent Hotspots as illustrated above

1. Clicking within the rectangle toggles Electrical Panel Popup View.

2. Clicking within the rectangle toggles GNS Radio Stack Popup View.

3. Clicking within the rectangle toggles Throttle Console Popup View.

4. Clicking within the rectangle toggles Hobbs Meter Popup View.

5. Clicking within the rectangle toggles Preflight Gauge Popup View.

The Liberty Aerospace XL2 Throttle Console Popup View is accessed by clicking the

LIBERTY AEROSPACE XL2 Electrical Panel/Fadec Switch

The Liberty Aerospace XL2 Electrical Panel Annunciators warn if Fadec switches are both
OFF or if only one is OFF.

Both OFF Fadec Warn

One OFF Fadec Caution

Right Click to turn lighting knobs ON, Left Click to turn lighting knobs OFF.

Note: Popup Click spots are available in Virtual Cockpit except Popup Throttle Console.
Note: Doors open by clicking door release handles while in VC.
