On the other hand, food served in fast food restaurants is offered and cooked in bulk in
advance and kept hot, is finished and packaged for order and is usuallyavailable ready for pickup
or to be delivered though seating may also be provided. The customers presently spend an
average of 60 minutes per day going to the restaurant, selecting their meals and paying.
Some restaurants have the provision of customers making a call to the restaurant in advance to
order a meal to be ready for them for pick or to be delivered to them. Some of the customers
dont always get the selection they want because the restaurants run out of certain items or

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This chapter presents the environment, respondents, research instrument, data gathering
Environment
The study focuses on Re Caf located at the Circumferential Road, P7 Bitoon Ozamiz
City. Customers are mostly coming from Misamis Occidental and other tourists from other
Provinces. The average total number of customers in a day for Re Caf around 60.
Respondents
The respondents in this study will be the customers of the shop. The proponents use
convenient sampling in getting the number of respondents from the total average of Re Caf
respondents.
The table below shows the average population of customers in a day of the Re Caf Shop.
TOTAL 30
While waiting for the orders of the customers inside the Re Caf Shop, this would give
the researchers time to conduct the research. A very effective way in gathering necessary data is
through survey method. This method was used by the researchers in requirement and analysis;
the proponents employed descriptive type of questionnaires (see Appendix C) which were
distributed to the respondents. The instrument used type of questions that are answerable by
EXCELLENT, GOOD, FAIR, POOR, to determine what type of problems are encountered by
customers and what type of features are needed for the shop.
The researchers will undergo data gathering from the customers of Re Caf Shop to
examine their experiences, problems and opinions in order to identify the efficient and effective
ways of the research study. Researchers sent letter to the Re Caf Shop of Ozamiz City asking
permission to conduct the research study. After their approval, the researchers randomly
distributed the questionnaires to the customers. The researchers provided directions and guided
Treatment of Data
When the survey was finished, the researchers tabulated and documented the survey.
After gathering the important data, the proponents analyzed, studied, and validated the data
carefully.
The following treatment was used for the data gathered for the presentation of the result. The
questions were answerable by EXCELLENT, GOOD, FAIR, POOR, and percentage were

We have come up with a study to make Computerized Ordering System for any
customers who will buy foods to Re Caf, Ozamiz City. This system is the substitute of the
traditional ordering system (based on paper tickets). Customers can access the system by or
through logging in. It needs the username and password of the customers based on his/her
registration form to access the logging form and continue to the main form, which is the menu.
This system has the ability to log the time and date when the customer enters the store. The
proposed system will use a "closed loop" where authorized operator or the management is the
only one who can issue or access the customers information and can print receipts through
customers orders.
System Objectives
General Objectives
This study aims to aid the problems encountered by the manual ordering system of RE CAF
1. To increase the security in the flow of orders in and out of the entity.
3. To minimize hassles.
The study focuses on the Ordering System used in paying the orders at Re Caf, Ozamiz

facilitates and secures the information and orders of the customers. The project system will focus
on the customers order whether he or she chooses dine or take out. The ordering system can
