Scope of inspection: UT witness
1 VISUAL INSPECTION:-
Offered material was visually checked for general workmanship surface finish,
completeness . Findings are as follows.
1a Items was offered in final assembled condition after babbiting .Bearing Shell consist in
1b ID : UNIT4 were found in hard punch condition on flanges
12 UT TEST:
UT Test was carried out for bonding on babit metal. No recordable indication observed.
Ref witness report.
REMARKS
NC points as per previous inspection( done by AIL) are not cleared.
CONCLUTSON:
Item is accepted based on offered inspection stage(UT) however kept in hold due to Re
Yellow sticker, on which TPL/649 was stamped, was affixed on item for identification only
TPL/649 was hard punched on flange near marking of item.
Note: Working Time: 06 Hrs.+ Travel Time: 02 Hrs.
