WORK PERIOD 1
Teacher Supervised: 3R Poster Collage
Objectives: To make poster collage out of junk materials.
Materials: Different cut out of junked materials, glue
Procedure
1. Distribute a big letter R drawn in a bond
Paper.
2. Paste the junk materials inside the letter.
Independent Activity: Biodegradable and Non-biodegradable
Picture Puzzle.
Objective: To form puzzle as fast as they can.
Materials: Picture puzzle of biodegradable and non-
biodegradable materials.
Procedure:
1. Group the pupils into (4)
2. Distribute puzzle to each group
3. Every group will form the puzzle correctly,
Wins.
MEETING TIMRE2 Discuss the different ways they can apply
the 3Rs in the community.
SUPERVISED RECESS:
STORY: Basura Monster!
 Objective: Learn how to take care of our environment
WORK PERIOD2
Teacher supervised: Triangles Counting Group of 3
Objective: To explore the concept of multiplication by
Counting group of the same quantity
Materials: Pictures of triangles, number cut outs
Procedure:
1. Show a triangle on a flip board. Ask how
many side does 1 triangle have? Select and
paste a number and paste below the
triangle.
2. Show 2 Triangles. Ask, how many sides
does the triangle have? Select again
number and paste below the triangles.
3. Repeat the process until 5 triangles.
Independent Activity: Who Has More?
Objective: To compare quantities from sets objects
Materials: Plastic cups, assorted junked materials,
such as candy, bottle caps, cutstraws,
lego, stones.crayons.
Procedure: 1. Fill out 6 plastic cups of different
number of things.
2. The child points 2 plastic cups and
compare without counting out which has
more?
3 .The child checks by counting the content
of the plastic cups.
INDOOR/OUTDOOR GAMES: The Boat is Singking
Objective: To group themselves in a number
Procedure;
 Teacher says. The Boat is Sinking group
