1 Types of fraction

A fraction is a way of expressing a part of a whole.

The number on the top, 3, is called the numerator, the
number on the bottom, 4, is called the denominator.
You write a fraction in its lowest terms by dividing the
num erator and denom inator by any common factor .

A percentage is a way of expressing a number as a proportion Remember
