Alana Stewart is someone who I can relate to in believing a higher power and God. She sees

the outlook on everything how it can all go perfectly plan. This is the way I see the outcome of

God. I believe that He is the one and only God who has power over everything in creation. Alana

Stewart explains perfectly how I see God, everyone, and everything; without His help in

everything we do I believe there would be no use in doing anything. I also believe that without a

God there would be no purpose or understanding in what people or whatever the earth may

hold. I consider myself as a monotheistic person due to my belief in God. With what I see in

other peoples lives that were done through God, I believe that He is a caring and loving Father

to His children. He was so in love with each and every one of us that He came down in human

flesh to take the sins we had and carry them far away from us. He suffered in order for us to go

to heaven and live an eternal life with Him and share His love for one another.

My philosophical standpoint is considered to be under the Christian standpoint. I believe in

the Bible. The Bible is listed as the oldest book in history. It holds the truth in what God teaches

to every one of us. The truth that is described in the Bible is the truth that I believe is true (this

also does not mean that the truth other people believe in is wrong, I have full respect in what

others may believe in). The truth I believe in is the truth I think is objective. There are some

parts in the Bible that may not sound right and does not quite add up to the things that were

taught before. Absolute truth may be possible to know when someone looks very closely into

what they are looking for. It may not be as quick as they want it to be but, they soon find God in

it. Some people who do not believe in God go deep into research and when they find more and

Given this example I do believe there is a way to find absolute truth.

Moral facts cannot be found in anything in this world that are man-made. Moral facts are

simply knowing what is right or what is wrong. Some people believe that moral facts are true

with an independently existing moral realm. An example of a moral realm would be the

existence of God. When I look into moral facts I do not believe they are mysterious or

offensively spooky because we do have some ideas concerning what could make something

good, bad, right, or wrong without being overly spooky. I do not think moral facts require

anything like the existence of God but, I also do not think that are not or should not be any moral

facts about the existence of God. When people ask for moral facts I believe they are asking how

reality relates to morality. Some moral facts we think we know are suffering is bad or we

should not cause suffering. These types of moral facts are what we go by most of the day. I

do believe that there are some people who go by their understanding moral facts and others go

simply by what they know is the actual fact. I believe that morality is relative to individuals or

cultures. I believe they are relative because whatever the person or group of people are

believing they believe that their moral facts are the ones that are true. When they go by what

they are taught in their group they believe they are right.

My view regarding the universe is that God is everything on earth. I am a pantheistic person

when it comes to the universe. I believe that God is within the universe because whenever I look

into creation it amazes me with what I see. Beautiful things that happen in the world cannot

happen with humans. God is the creator of everything and knowing that He can do anything

shows me that He is here on earth. As humans we tend to look at a sunset, flower, animal, or a

person as something that may not be appealing to the eye but, whenever I see a sunset, flower,

animal, a person, or anything that is amazing I see the works of the Lord. God can do amazing

things in everything and everyone. Whenever my family or friends struggle with something at

home, school, sports, work, etc. I see God doing everything He can to make it work. I believe

that God is everywhere in creation and He is within creation. Another way of saying this is

looking at artwork from an artist that loves to either draw, paint, sketch, sculpt, or anything that

involves their hands, you can see them express themselves in what they do. Photographers

take photographs of things that are appealing to them and when they take that photo they take it

a specific way because they believe they see something that no one else can see. Another is a

painter. A painter paints what they feel and what they see. In everything the painter paints,

sculptor sculpts, photographer photographs, etc. they leave a piece of themselves in their

artwork. This is the way I see God and creation. I see Him in everything within the universe. Not

all of us may see Him but, when we look in creation He is there doing amazing works.

As a human being and being almost like everyone else in the world I believe that we are

coming to the point that we are all broken. As I look into the news reports of what our society

has come to I see that we are falling apart and going over the line of what God calls us to do. I

also consider myself as a broken person. I have fallen over the edge many times. I believe that

we not necessarily good and we are not necessarily evil. Looking at the crimes we have all done

whether thats physical or spiritual we are drawing closer to evil little by little. I see ourselves this

way because we have broken so things that God set out for us not to do. We are not completely

evil; I do see great things that are happening with people in other places around the world. I see

ourselves broken because temptation is growing more and more in our lives each day. We may

put it off to the side not think about it but, other days we take that temptation and use it as a

weapon towards others and towards God. When we get tempted we have to think about what

the outcome may be. Some outcomes may be great and beneficial to ourselves but, we never

fully think about what the outcomes will be towards others. When the outcomes seem to be

great for ourselves we do it and it causes a major disaster to others in the world. I believe that

we have come to point in our lives that we selfish in everything we do. We do things that will

benefit us and not benefit others especially God. With this I believe that this is the reason we

are so broken. Although I believe that we are broken I believe that we can be restored through

Jesus and God. If ask for forgiveness He will be more than happy to forgive us. When we ask

for this I believe we can overcome temptation and soon have a relationship with God.

The meaning of human beings should be to love and worship God. Loving and

worshipping God should be the absolute meaning of humans. God created us and has helped

us through everything we struggle with and knowing that we should be thankful and praise God.

We as humans can help one another through difficult times through God. Loving Him and others

can do amazing things that can point glory to Him. When we do this we can have an eternal life

with Him.

When I was a younger I never really thought who Jesus was. I was putting him to the

side of everything I thought was more important. Soon I came to Rehoboth and learned more

about who he was and what he can do. I know more things now that I did not know then. When I

learned more about who he was I started having conversations with my family. I come from a

Christian family and knowing and talking about Christ is great. I have grown my relationship with

Christ and my family has also grown closer to him. We believe that he is the Son of God and we

are grateful for what he has done for us.
