photocopying, filing, electronic records management, responding to emails, typing correspondence, and other duties as required.
My entire working career has consisted of front-end clerical and
administrative roles. These have been in the public sector, government employment, and non-profit organisations.
My current role is with a private health insurance company,
(Organisation), where I work as a customer service and administration officer in a branch counter position. In this role I serve customers face-to-face, take phone inquiries, complete data entry tasks using our in house customer management system, photocopy and file forms, scan and upload forms onto the electronic records management system (FASTRACK), and write letters to customers using Microsoft Word.
Prior to working at (Organisation) I worked in the front office at
(School). This involved processing enrolments, typing letters using Microsoft Word, answering queries by phone (using a Commander system) and email (using Lotus Notes), photocopying, faxing, incoming and outgoing mail, filing, maintaining stationery and sick room supplies, petty cash, and other administrative duties as requested by the Principal.
I consider my computing skills to be of a very high standard. I am
familiar with a variety of computer programs that assist with my day-to-day work, and I have a fast and accurate typing speed (110 words per minute with 98% accuracy). I have completed a Microsoft Word course and subsequent test and scored 85% at the intermediate level. Both my keyboarding skills and knowledge of word processing software assists in typing accurate correspondence, in a timely manner. I am also a very organised person who prefers to work in a structured environment, and as such all of my tasks are completed in a timely and organised method in order of priority.
