Command & Control and distributed security platform

The client:
Department of Finance was established in 1962, and it plays a fundamental role in
providing Abu Dhabi government entities with the best-in-class financial services
and specialized solutions as well as managing available resources efficiently.

Its mission is to enhance the prosperity of the Abu Dhabi community by contributing
to overall economic growth and promoting the private sector participation. DoF has
five main directorates: Budgeting, Customs, Government Accounts, Support
Services and Information Technology.

Scope:
To provide distributed CCTV Systems across all the Borders in UAE under the
Jurisdiction of Abudhabi Emirate and four Command and Control.

There are 5 five borders under the Emirate of Abudhabi, namely:

1. Ghweifat-Saudi Border.
2. Khatim Al Shikla Oman Border.
3. Mezyad Oman Border.
4. Hili Oman Border.
5. Madheef Oman Border.
The last 4 are located in the eastern region of Alain.

ATECO was selected to provide one of the Industrys latest CCTV system at all
borders and in the regional centers at Mina HQ, Alain HQ & Several Post offices in
Abudhabi.

Challenge:
The challenge was to install the systems on a working border & link all of these
systems into a single unified platform.

The Solution:
ATECO Chose to Install around 500 AXIS & Bosch CCTV Cameras with Infotrend
storage and GENETEC as the VMS.
The reason to choose AXIS Cameras was the ability to control & adjust the cameras
remotely with the motorized lens. GENETEC one of the industrys leading VMS
provider was opted for as all the remote sites can be federate into one single unified
platform enabling the client to view any of the location remotely from the four
Command and Control Setup in Alain HQ, Mina HQ, Ghweifat Border Post &
Abudhabi Airport.

 St. Regis Saadiyat 1000 cameras IP CCTV system

The Client:
The iconic St. Regis brand extends its legacy to Abu Dhabi with The St. Regis
Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, created by thoughtful Mediterranean architecture and a
contemporary interior design.
The award-winning St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort is the citys true beachfront
leisure address located just 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport and 10
minutes from the citys bustling downtown.

Scope:
The St Regis Saadiyat has an existing CCTV System. ATECO was chosen to enhance
the existing system based on the latest ADMCC specification and change the whole
headend equipment which was earlier a Pelco system.

Challenge:
The challenge was to integrate the existing cameras and the newly installed and
replaced cameras onto a single platform using the existing network and upgrading
the Switches.

The solution:
ATECO chose to Install Bosch cameras and replacing the old VMS & Storage to
GENETEC & Infotrend. The reason to choose Genetec was that it can integrate vast
number of camera brands in to a single platform and manage the same.
