this poem you will rhyme the first line (a) and the second line (a). Then rhyme the third

When writing this essay, you will need to write out your thesis statement first.
After you write out your thesis statement, write three ideas that support your statement,
or show that your statement is true.
For example:
Thesis/topic sentence
Do the words healthy candy sound like an oxymoron?
OR
Eating candy is not good for anyone or is it?
Now you have to come up with three things that tell you more about your thesis
statement.
For Example:
1. Most candy is made from pure sugar
2. Experts agree that too much candy is not good for a person
3. A new wave in healthy candy
To start this essay, go to the next page and write out your thesis statement. Then write out
points 1, 2, and 3. Now go to question #3 and write out the introductory paragraph using
your thesis statement. Use point 1 and write out a complete sentence. Use point 2 and
write out a complete sentence. Use point 3 and write out a complete sentence. End the
paragraph with a summary sentence.
Now go to #4. You will use the second sentence of your introductory paragraph as your
topic sentence for the paragraph. Now use examples, details, and explanations to
complete the paragraph. You should write five sentences, the last being a summary or
a transition into the next paragraph.
Go to #5. Use the third sentence of your introductory paragraph as the topic sentence for
this paragraph. Do the same for this paragraph as you did for #4.
