AnsTheRigveda is the oldest book of Vedas. It is believed that it was written approximately 3000 to 3500
years ago. There are more than 1000 Richas in it. The collection of Richas are called Suktas. Richas are

Indra and Soma. Agni is the God of fire, Indra is the God of war and Soma is a creeper of which a special
kind of drink is prepared. The language of Rigveda is called Praka Sanskrit or Vedic Sanskrit.
