Reflections on Observation Task 2: Identifying Children

with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

1. What is the school policy for inclusion for SEN students in the
school?
Providing stimulating learning environment that challenges each
student into discovering their potential and mould them into
respectful, reliable and purposeful members of the global
community. As well, is committed to providing the conditions to
enable any child with SEN to be included fully in all aspects of
life.

2. What accommodations were made for the identified SEN

students in the classroom? Give for them activity that they
able to do for low level student and high level students.

3. Was there any assistive technology, other equipment or

materials used with the identified SEN students? If yes,
please describe the equipment that was used and what it
was used for.

Yes, the reinforcement when the weak student knows the

answers so she give for them the reinforcement. As well, block
for low student when they do not know the how count and
make issue of collecting. For high level student she gives for
thepaper to write the issue of collecting.

4. What teaching strategies did your MST use with the

identified SEN students? Reinforcement , praise them and
encourage them.

5. Where there any other school staff that worked with the
identified SEN students? If yes, please explain their role and
what they did with the identified SEN student. No

6. Do you think that SEN students should be included in the

classroom or taught in class specifically for SEN students?
Why / Why not?
I think yes because the educators today have a
number of support resources available through their
schools and districts. As well, all special-needs
students are capable of success. Each will succeed
according to his or her individual ability but all can
succeed. Keep that constantly in mind when working
with a special-needs child in your class.
