Introduction
This is a lesson plan that incorporates some ideas from the TV show (The Apprentice)
to help students develop their speaking skills (presentation skills). Its for secondary school
students which can be carried out for a duration of about 2 hours. Teachers can also split it
into several lessons, covering different tasks in each lesson (weekly), which can create a more
Apprentice-like scenarios. Of course, unlike the TV show, there is no real elimination but
more on giving rewards to the winning team. This perhaps can be a way to motivate the
students to develop their speaking skills. As for this particular lesson plan, Ive split the
lesson plan into two parts:

The Apprentice: The Chosen Two

The Apprentice: The Finale

Each lesson will have different activities but the learning outcome will still be the same. It is
also important for the teacher to give a heads up to the students before delivering the teaching
and learning session of this lesson plan. This is to ensure that the students are ready to learn
in a different manner.
