Traditional Chinese Medicine
benefits to you as a professional:
Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners have a deeper understanding and more experience about specific acts such, acupuncture,
tuina, and cupping therapy, which massage therapists are allowed to learn and practice. However, Massage Therapists will not be as
knowledgeable as TCM Practitioners. Massage Therapists can talk to TCM Practitioners to discuss the needs of the patient with learning more
about the Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques and gain more experience for the future treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment
can deal with inner body problems, which the Massage Therapy treatment may not reach, like balancing the body system or maintaining organ
health. Once the techniques exceed Massage Therapists scope, they can directly refer the client to the Traditional Medicine Practitioners. If the
client feel he/she is properly treated by the professionals that the Massage Therapist recommend, he/she would trust the therapist more and be
willing to come back again. However, some clients may not use to the Traditional Chinese Techniques and like the hands on work more,
therefore, the Massage Therapists can get a referral from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners.
benefits to clients:
Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners are using traditional Chinese methods to treat clients, for example, the herbs which are
natural ingredients having almost zero side-effects to the body; and using needles on extraordinary meridians to treat body. In addition, TCM
practitioners are not like the other health care professional having a specific scope about the treatment area, they are holistic body healers.
Massage Therapists cannot prescribe drugs to clients and also cannot diagnose diseases. But Massage Therapists know the muscular system
more comprehensively than TCM Practitioners. Clients can be treated well if they have basic body problems from Medicine practitioners.
Otherwise, it is amazing that the practitioners can predict imminent diseases by using Chi and through looking at tongue. It can save some
money for the clients if the practitioner finds the disease earlier. The TCM Practitioners know a great deal about the nervous system, they can
reduce clients nerve pain very quick by using acupuncture, which massage therapy treatment may not reach.
Chiropractic
benefits to you as a professional:
Massage Therapist can work together with Chiropractor when the clients have bone and nerve problem which the massage therapist
cannot solve. It is a win-win situation that works with Chiropractor, the therapist will have a chance to have more clients. If a client has the
skeletal issue, which must combine with some muscular problem, and the client who has muscular problem must have bone issue. It is the
benefit to Massage Therapists for getting more clients and also the benefit to clients for getting treated on both muscles and bone. The Massage
Therapist does the hand work which uses the power from the shoulder, and bend the knee and back all the way. Even a therapist who really
cares about their posture, still will have some bone and muscle problems. Especially on the vertebrae spine, the Chiropractor can help Massage
Therapists to correct the spine problems.

benefits to clients:
Nowadays, people need to work with computers and phones a lot. Most people have spine problems which causes lots pain.
Chiropractor is one of the health care professional that deals with the bone issues. Spine is one of the important structures in the human body.
All nerves come through the spine and stay all over the body for remaining pain and carrying information. Therefore, the nerve pain may cause
by dysfunctional spine or muscle. Massage Therapists can fix nerve pain cause by muscles and Chiropractors can fix nerve pain cause by spine.
Massage Therapists and Chiropractors are complement each other and giving better treatment to patients. As Massage Therapy standard, the
therapist cannot touch gluteal cleft, which means the Massage Therapist cannot touch and treat the muscle around that portion, however,
Chiropractors can treat anal verge and put finger on the tailbone. Clients will be able to receive the whole body treatment around muscles and
bones.
Physiotherapy
benefits to you as a professional:
Physiotherapists as the health care professional can diagnose disease, a physical disorder or dysfunctional muscles, joints and
bones. Massage Therapists cannot diagnose, but they can suspect the symptom of dysfunctional muscles and joints. It will be easier
for Massage Therapists if they can cooperate with physiotherapists. Physiotherapists are able to point out the damage area on the body
and then refer to Massage Therapists to form the treatment directly. It will save some times for Massage Therapists to do the
assessment. Actually many Massage Therapists work in Physiotherapists clinics. Physiotherapists have greater knowledge level than
Massage Therapists, so Massage Therapists can be promoted and earn more experience or refer clients to the physiotherapist.

benefits to clients:
Massage Therapist fixes the dysfunctional soft tissues and joints, and relieve pain. Physiotherapy has a similar scope, but
physiotherapists can do more work on clients, like making the diagnosis; treating the wounds; moving the joints of spine beyond the
usual range; and treating the pelvic muscles, which Massage Therapist has to avoid. Massage Therapists and Physiotherapists are the
health care professionals who know the muscle structure really well. Clients can be treated better on muscles and the other disorder
symptoms of body by Massage Therapists and Physiotherapists. Most of the medical insurance and benefits are covering the treatment
fee for Massage therapy treatment and Physiotherapy treatment from 100% to 80% every year. Therefore, clients can go get treatment
from Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists without worry the payment problem.
