Championship classes are run under NZPCA Championship Regulations.
Non-Championship classes: Friday 21st Dressage and Show Jumping Saturday 22nd Cross-country
Class 4: 105cm - A:4 (2009) (Eventing NZ Effective 1 January 2010 Book)
Class 5: 95cm - A:1 (2009) (Eventing NZ Effective 1 January 2010 Book)
Class 6: 80cm - L:1 (2009) (Eventing NZ Effective 1 January 2010 Book)
Non championship classes Open to all rider 25yrs and under NZPCA and ESNZ Members
Entry Fee: $45 (80cm, 95cm, 1.05cm)
(Entry Fees include St John levy and compulsory ground fees plus Admin Fee)

Rules and conditions for Non Championship competitors:

1. Run under ESNZ/NZPCA Rules (August 2015).
2. Late entries will incur a $20 late fee per combination entry, from date of closing and will not be
entitled to refunds. NO LATE ENTRIES after 12th April 2017- No entries on the day.
3. Please supply a current email address for draw, yarding arrangements and event information.
Yards not guaranteed at barge showgrounds.
You will require your own Back Number Holder. Paper numbers will be provided.
4. DOGS ALLOWED AT EVENT but Must be on Leads at all times.
5. NZPCA or ESNZ approved safety helmets to be worn AT ALL TIMES while mounted.
6. MEDICAL ARMBANDS to be worn for all jumping phases.
7. BACK PROTECTORS are compulsory for cross country. GEAR CHECK compulsory for all phases.
8. Please take any rubbish with you when you leave the event.
9. Evidence of cruelty to an animal, or abuse of an official may lead to elimination of the rider.
10. Eliminated riders in cross-country for ALL Classes - MUST WALK HOME.
11. Championship riders are NOT eligible to enter mounts in the additional classes. Riders are
eligible to only enter one mount in the additional classes.
12. Entries only accepted with full payment. Direct credit to Northland Area Pony Club Inc- 2017
NZPCA Eventing Championship Account ANZ 060541 0732255 00 with name as
reference&ODE.
13. Please refer to Article 655 regarding the correct riding attire.
- Non championship riders must wear a riding jacket for the dressage phase.
- PC Club colours are to be worn in the cross country phase show jumping phase.
14. Non championship classes will be held on Friday and Saturday with an unmounted
presentation on Saturday afternoon.
15. Rosettes to 5th place in each class.
16. All riders in all classes to enter at www.equestrianentries.co.nz.
17. Entries close for non-championship classes on Monday 10th April 2017.
18. NOTE: The venue is smoke free
19. The Committee reserves the right to alter or cancel classes as they see fit and to limit
classes if necessary.

damage, accidents, injury or illness to any pony, horse, rider or other persons or property
whatsoever.
