Lesson 4

The Will of the Father

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom
of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.-
Matthew 7:21
Introduction:

A
s the Appointed Son of God said, there is nothing that counts most but
the Fathers will. This is the relationship that binds us with Him
because we are His creation and He is our creator. This is where the
Appointed Son is refocusing the attention of all humanity -to the will of the
Father.

I- What is the Will of the Father?

Our life, our spirit and our soul should be on the center of His perfect
will from the very beginning when He hath created us.

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy
mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. (Luke 10:27)

II- Why is it necessary to know about the Will of the Father?

The purpose why the Almighty Father created man is because He

wants man to be His Temple. The Almighty Father is a Spirit that is why
He needed a body where His Spirit can dwell so that He can manifest
through that body. Through obedience to His Will, man can have an
intimate relationship with his creator. There was nothing more
precious to him than doing the Will of the Father.

III- Why were we separated from the Will of the Father?

Because Adam and Eve, our first parents, were deceived by Satan
Lucifer the Devil, who knew one-third of the secrets in heaven. They
disobeyed the commandment of God. And since then, man was
separated from the will of the Father. This resulted in the conflict or
enmity (Genesis 3:15) between the Fathers will and the human
will. Man is estranged or separated from the Almighty Father because
of disobedience. It was then mans spiritual death. As a result, the
spirit of disobedience is dominant in him. He does not hear from the
Father anymore. His interpretation of good and evil is according to
Him, not from the Father anymore. This is a life of sin.

IV- What happens when we are separated from His Will?

Once we are separated from God, we become His enemies. We are in

enmity with the Spirit of our Father.

JOHN 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit.

JOHN 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

GALATIANS 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit
against the flesh: and these are contrary to one another: so that ye
cannot do the things that ye would.

1 JOHN 2:16-17 (16) For that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and
the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the
world. (17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that
doeth the will of God abideth forever.

V- Why is there a conflict between these two wills?

There is conflict because the Fathers will was based on the work of the
Spirit and His righteousness while the foundation of the human will is
carnal or according to the flesh.

John 8:34-44. The Begotten Son pointed out to the Jewish leaders
about their spiritual state and the reality that they are not children of
Abraham, but of the devil.

VI- How can we break away from the curse of sin and be reconnected back
again to the Will of the Father?
Through genuine repentance and surrendering to the Fathers will, man
can be born again in the Spirit and be reconciled once again to the
Father.
The wheel of salvation started when the Father chose His people in the
Jewish age but they failed to grasp the spiritual component of salvation
which is obedience to His Will; they remained loyal to their rituals,
traditions and their man-made temple.
The same mistake was committed by the Church age people.
Until the Father had chosen one man, from a third world country, to
finish the work of salvation that was started by the Begotten Son of
God 2,000 years ago.
Now, we have a model to follow, the Appointed Son because he was
the first to go through the process until he completed the Fathers work
of salvation. He is no longer alone but we too can become appointed
sons and daughters like him.

John 1:12-13
(12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the
will of man, but of God.

VII- How can we be reconciled back to the Fathers Will?

By enthroning the Fathers will within us; we are reconciled back to the
Father. The restoration of the Fathers will in the center of the heart of
man and in the life of man should happen first.

1 PETER 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of
God, which liveth and abideth forever.

JOHN 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into kingdom of God.

CONCLUSION:

T
his is the meaning of salvation: when the Fathers Will is done on earth.
This is what He had envisioned from the beginning. Hence, the
Fathers original creation which is man has come back to the state of
innocence qhich is knowing nothing but only doing the will of the Father.
Our role model for this is no other than the Appointed Son of God.

with the Father. Can you narrate the Will of the Father in your life
from the time you wake up till going to bed in the night? Have you
fulfilled them? xxx
