ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

GELIVI OIL REFINERY R.S was incorporated as a partnership firm and

was commissioned in the year 1997. It has an authorized of Rs. 50 lakhs invested by the
partners.

Its installed capacity is 25Mt/da of refining of all types of edible oils like
Groundnut oil, Cottonseed oil, Sunflower oil and any other edible oils.

The refinery was located at Nandyal since there was no other refining plant at
this place and also considering the availability of raw material plant was established.
There are three oil mills crushing raw groundnut seeds, three more mills for crushing
Sunflower seeds and three factories for crushing Cottonseed. Since the local production
of raw oil is sufficient for the plant, there is no difficulty of procuring raw material for the
refining plant.

MILESTONES OF THE ORGANIZATION:

1952: The organization is the inspiration of the partners who started oil industry in this
year by crushing groundnut seed. This was continued till 1997 when the crop of
groundnut locally has been replaced by cotton crop.

1974: The crushing of Cotton seed was started namely, Gelivi Venkatasubbaih Setty
Cotton seed oil & cake Industries, since number of Cotton ginning factories were
established locally.

1990: In addition to crushing of Cottonseed locally, Sunflower crop was started by the
riots. Hence Sunflower seed crushing was started in the name of ChandraBhanu Oil
Industries.

1997: To meet the competition of local and also conserving the necessity of refining at
this place the refining plant by the name Gelivi Oil Refinery was established. The
organization is now manufacturing refined Cottonseed Oil, Refined Sunflower Oil, and
Refined Solvent Sunflower Oil and also dealing in the purchase and sale of imported
R.B.D Palmolive Oil.

In addition to this they also started GELIVI WEIGH BRIDGE and GELIVI
MOBILE POLLUTION TESTING CENTER in 2000.

MARKETING OF THE PRODUCTS:

The products namely refined Oils like Refined Cottonseed Oil, Refined sunflower Oil
and Refined Solvent Sunflower Oil are being sold at presenting of 15 Kg, 15 Lts Tins and
one liter small packs. They are being sold in drums and cans supply to buyers. Generally
loose quantities supplied to mills. Tins will be delivered to all local shops as well as to
outside stations. There are proposals to open a sale depot in the town for the convince of
the public.

GELIVI INDUSTRIES was incorporated as a partnership firm with varied functional

departments and all partners are responsible for each department of the organization.
Each partner looks after the activities involved in each department and keeps them-self
engaged all the times. The following are the departments involved in the organization and

reports are generated by computer. Not even this they also maintaining the inventory
section, production section, payroll section and all other financial section.
