Reflective Statement

Relevance for TPE and edTPA

Creating an online resource project allowed me to implement my


technological knowledge and tie it in with TPE 4 planning instruction and
Designing learning experienced for all students. By creating the online
resource and putting together resources online I feel capable of completed
the edTPA by implementing TPE 4 into my teaching instruction and using
digital tools and learning technologies across learning environments I am
also documenting technological assessments, tied into TPE 5 Assessing
Student Learning. This is shown on the online resource project by using
technology as appropriate to support assessment administration. This
online resource project allows me to touch on TPE 6: Developing as a
professional Educator. By reviewing my fieldwork experience and sharing my
work with my classmates I am able to reflect on teaching practice and level
of subject matter.>. as stated in the TPE document.

TPE standards and links to content learning and ELD instruction

The access to academics textbook ties in well with the TPE document
mentioning El instruction. Instruction on how to apply strategies learned is
emphasized in the TPE document and is posted on my online resource
project as a resource to use when planning lesson plans.

VAPA & PE:

The online resource project is readily available for not only myself but also
others and can be useful when planning instruction. The visual and
performing arts as well as the Physical education frameworks were used
throughout the website and are linked throughout for reference and for use
when planning lesson plans and creating assessment materials.

ELD:

Notes and specific highlighted points from Access to academic are provided
so that those referencing the online work will be able to utilize the
techniques and teaching strategies provided as well. Taxonomies and
objective writing are linked in the website to help create not only PE or VAPA
objectives but add EL objectives as well.
