In Asia, If you think of the under developing country, I strongly believed that
Cambodia is up coming on your mind. Cambodia is located in South east Asia. If
you compare neighborhood country, the infrastructure in Cambodia is truly
terrible. There are almost 4.8 million or around two-third of the populations
lives below the poverty line or received the income lower than $2 per day and
also about 90 percent of them are in rural area.

write are below the world standard so there is not enough school and teacher to
teach. Therefore, I decided to go to Takeo settle in southwest of Cambodia to
interview from the Backhams family who is the villager family in Takeo.

FAMILY Cruz, he is 13 years old. in this
moment he is the oldest boy because
his older brother, Brooklyn, is
working in Thailand now. He has to
do work same as his father and
mother but he can do only twice a
week so he doesnt earn much
money and definitely, he doesn't go to school as he should! The boy in the blue
shirt next to Cruz, his name is Romeo. He is younger than Cruz for 2 years. He
always follow his brother to do work and also he doesnt go to school but luckily,
In the last month, They can earn a lot so they have a chance to go to school.
There are 6 members of this family, one
father, one mother, and 4 children
which are three boys and one girl. The
leader of this family is David, who is
standing in the left hand side, wearing
a black jacket, he is 41 years old and he
is a farmer. In the right hand side, her
name is Victoria, she is 39 years old and
she is a farmer too. They live in a house
that make of natural material. David
and Victoria have to work hard everyday,
correct a lot of money in order to have
enough money for good food and keep
up with the disaster that they cant
predict.

stay at home and

to do house work
and cooking for

In the first month, David and
Victoria have to work everyday so
they have a good food, They have
rice, vegetable and meat but all
of the children eat only rice and
vegetable. However, in the
second month, they got a big
disaster which is drought and
crop failure and absolutely
they are a farmer so they didnt have
enough crop to sell. Therefore, all of
them only have rice and vegetable
and their income are decreased for 20
percent and their health are decreased
for 20 percent as well, so all of them
have to go to hospital for checking up
of their health and they decided to
loan some of money from the bank.

We live in the house that made of

natural material so our health is
not good enough and cause to be

We didnt have good food in

every month some have only rice
some have rice and vegetable
and if which month we corrected
much money, we will have rice,
vegetable and meat.
Unfortunately, not much month
that we can have rice, vegetable

I dont have much friends at school

because I didnt go to school every
month I will go to school when I have

Fortunately, they received 25 percent up of their

income from the government in third month.
Although, they received more income in the third
month and didnt get a disaster in the forth month but
I miss my brother, BROOKLYN, he is in Thailand. He they didnt use too much expense, they corrected

The problem is that any money that
people spend on health care is
somewhat wasted because of bad
diagnosis and healthcare providers
