I did not participate in any assessments or progress monitoring today. Usually I do with at least one group but today was one of those rare days.

It will tell me where I am doing things right in my instruction and where I need to improve.

I tried first expressing my desires for what I wanted them to accomplish and then gave them a word that signaled them to get up and do what I said, this helped them to listen to all the directions and then complete tasks correctly.
6. What did you learn about yourself as a teacher today?
I learned that I need to make sure I am completely clear with my directions, otherwise me and my students will be confused as to what we all need to do.
