ReMeDi Enterprise Solution

ReMeDi solution comprises of a set of medical devices and a comprehensive web-

based software application. ReMeDi devices include ECG, Blood Pressure,

Stethoscope, Pulse Oximeter and Thermometer. In addition, a number of 3 party
devices, including glucometer, hemoglobin and cholesterol measurement, have also
been integrated into the software and are also available as part of the solution.

Web-based ReMeDi software is available on the cloud and includes low-bandwidth

video conferencing and a comprehensive Electronic Medical Record.
Detailed description of the devices and software is given in the next few sections.

ReMeDi Medical Data Acquisition Unit (MDAU)

ReMeDi-MDAU is the Multi-parameter physiological Data Acquisition Unit, and
captures 12-channel ECG, Non-invasive BP, Temperature, Heart and Lung Sounds, and
Oxygen Saturation. It connects to a computer on the USB port and also draws power (<
2W) from the same port. The Software Application on the computer allows users to
measure various diagnostic parameters.

Consultation Reports

All the consultations, carried out by various providers till date, are listed in this report.
User may select a date range to view the report for a specific period of time. User may
also select a particular region for which the report has to be viewed. These reports can
also be exported to a CSV file.

Server Hosting on Cloud

Web based ReMeDi application is available on the cloud and can be accessed from
anywhere on the Internet. Users may login from any computer that satisfies the system
specification requirements, and where the application has been installed. There are
many distinct advantages for the customer to access the application on cloud.

Upfront CapEx & Manpower Cost: Customer does not need to invest capital in
setting up IT infrastructure like servers, air-conditioning, power-backup, etc. to
host the server application. In addition, no additional IT staf is required to
maintain server infrastructure. Instead, when the application is hosted on the
cloud, Neurosynaptic takes care of setting up and maintaining the server
infrastructure.
No High bandwidth Internet Cost: The solution is resilient to fluctuations in
the internet connections. For maintaining continuity of consultation services,
backup lines are also needed, in case the Servers primary Internet connection
goes down. When the application is hosted on the cloud, Internet is automatically
made available. It is also very reliable with fallback options, even if the primary
connection fails for some reason.
 Seamless Scalability: Hosting on the cloud also takes care of seamless
scalability as the project needs grow with increasing number of centers and
patients. Both the server hardware and Internet connection are scaled up, as the
requirement increases. If the application is NOT hosted on the cloud, customer
will have to keep investing in additional server hardware, power backups,
increased Internet bandwidth, etc.
Low OpEx: Besides, there is only a nominal fee charged periodically for the
usage of server application on the cloud. This makes it really cost-efective, in
the long run for the customer.

Note:- The consumables are for two months assuming 4-5 tests done in a day.
Consumables for Rapid tests(Dengue, HIV test, Hepatitis test, urine tests etc) are

as it will be transferred on the patient if the test is done.
