CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS

PREAMBLE

To give importance in setting up the creation and operation of small and

dynamic enterprises an to respond to the position needs for more
productive entrepreneurs that will serve as the backbone of the
industrialization and economic development of the ----- we. The HOME
ARTS and Entrepreneurship students of the Leyte Normal University with
the aid of the Almighty do ordain and prom----- this constitution.
 ARTICLE I - NAME

This organization shall be known as the ENTREPRENEURS CLUB of the

Leyte Normal University Tacloban City. The members of the organization shall
be ----- to as ENTREPRENEURS of Leyte Normal University. The initial E.C.
may be officially used to designate its units, or its members.

ARTICLE II - OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the organization shall be:

1. To inculculate the concept of entrepreneurship as a career into the

minds of ----- students.

2. To promote a growing appreciation of entrepreneurial activities.

3. To enhance creative leadership among the -----.

4. To develop awareness of social responsibilities of entrepreneurs.

5. To ----- social and economic development of the society.

ARTICLE III - INSIGNA

SECTION I - LOGO: The E.C logo shows the unity icon and that stands for the
letter E for the Entrepreneurs and below it is the word Club. The motto
Make a change towards progress is at the bottom of the word Club.

SECTION II - MOTTO: The E.C. shall adopt the motto Make a change
towards progress.

SECTION III - COLORS: The E.C. shall have for its colors: BLUE, GREEN, and
YELLOW.
SECTION IV - CREED: The E.C. Shall adopt the creed expressed here under:
We are the future entrepreneurs of the Philippines, striving the economic and
social development of the communities, developing our potentials as future
economic leaders, learning to live everyday for a better and brighter
tomorrow. We are ready to take the challenges of life with the flaming desire
to always succeed. This with Gods ----- is what it is to be an entrepreneur.

ARTICLE IV - MEMBERSHIP

SECTION I - ACTIVE MEMBERS: All students taking Bachelor of Science in

Home Arts and Entrepreneurship shall be active members of the E.C.

SECTION II - ASSOCIATE MEMBERS: Any active members upon graduation in

college are entitled to associate membership of the club. Associate members
shall not vote nor hold office but they may serve as committee members.

SECTION III - COOPERATING MEMBERS: Students in Technology and

Livelihood Economics (T.L.E.) interested in joining the organization shall
be cooperating members. Cooperating members shall not vote nor hold
office but they may serve as committee members.

ARTICLE V - ORGANIZATION

SECTION I - All classes of Bachelor of Science in Home Arts and

Entrepreneurship (BSHAE) of the Leyte Normal University Tacloban City, shall
elect a PRESIDENT,
VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, TREASURER, AUDITOR, PUBLIC INFORMATION
OFFICER, YEAR LEVEL REPRESENTATIVES and BUSINESS MANAGER. The
adviser shall be appointed by the head of the Economics Department of the
College.
The officers of the different BSHAE classes constitute the executive council of
the club.

SECTION II - The Home Economics teachers/instructors of the college shall

compose the Administration Officers of the Entrepreneurs Club.

SECTION III - All officers shall assume office immediately after being inducted
to the office by the Dean of Student Affairs of the institution.

ARTICLE VI - DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS

SECTION I - PRESIDENT

To preside overall meeting according to accepted ----- procedure.

To call for a regular and special meeting.

To serve as chairman of the executive council.

To appoint committees and serve as ex-office member.

To encourage and assist the member in carrying out club projects.

SECTION II - VICE PRESIDENT

To persuade a meeting in the absence of the president.

To serve the chairman of the program committee.

To see to it that the program works stimulated the interest of the
activities of the college and the community.

To provide every member of the club opportunity to serve and
participate activities of the club.

SECTION III - SECRETARY

To record and prepare the minutes of every meeting by the President
or his/her representative.

To call the roll at the start of the meeting.

To read the previous minutes and agenda of the meeting.

To count the record votes.

To keep a list of all members

To keep official correspondence.

To keep track of all members picture, arctic, documents, and other
materials related to E.C.

To circulate to all members the agenda of the meeting and other notice
of the organization.

SECTION IV - TREASURER

To keep the records of the receipts and the disbursement of the club.

To present financial statement of the club.

To help device appropriate ways and means.

To cooperate with necessary specially the secretary in keeping an
accurate role.

SECTION V - PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER

To prepare reports and article.

To gather and clarify news of the program.

To help interpret the program of the club of the school and the
community.

To help maintain order during a club meeting.

To help enforce the measure passed by the organization.

To assist in maintaining the club bulletin board.
SECTION VI - YEAR LEVEL REPRESENTATIVES

Inform the members of their respective year levels about the activities of the
society.

Perform other duties which the President may require.

SECTION VII - BUSINESS MANAGER

To plan entrepreneurial activities identified by the other officer and the
members of the club.

To transact business for a behalf of the ENTREPRENEURS CLUB.

To look into the production and the marketing of the products as in IGP
of the organization.

SECTION VIII - ADVISER

To initiative in organizing the club in the school.

To familiarize himself the constitution and by-laws parliamentary
procedure insight and other essentials of the organization.

To acquaint the officers in setting up the program of work and see to it
if it has accomplished.

To see the club meeting held regularly throughout the year.

To school administration and community informed of the activities and
development of the club.

To council the officers, members and committees on their problems.
 ARTICLE VII - DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEES

SECTION I - DUTIES OF THE PROGRAM OF WORK COMMITTEES:

To know the characteristics of good programs of work.

To consider the needs of the members the homes, school and the
community as well as the objectives of the education of the school
year and the objectives of the club in planning the programs of work.

To prepare the calendar of activities for the school year and objectives
in club planning programs of works.

SECTION II - DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEES:

To study the program of work and list all anticipated expenses during
the year.

To determine the ways of raising money to finance the proposed
project.

To prepare a budget for the club of raising money based on the amount
estimated to be raised.

To plan how many-making activities may be undertaking.

SECTION III - DUTIES OF THE RECREATIONAL COMMITTEE (SECRETARY):

To plan recreational activities of the club.

To take lead on the recreational activities of the club.
SECTION IV - DUTIES OF THE SERVICE PROJECT COMMITTEE (TREASURER):

To plan services for the school and the community.

To help carry out service project as planned.

To make reports of accomplishments of service projects.

SECTION V - DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN:

To present matter to their groups in the executive council meetings.

To call meeting of their groups and preside them.

To make results of their works.
