Has been in practice in General surgery for the past 38 years to the present. Has been going to
the Medical Surgical Missions to the Philippines for the past 21 years and is in charge of the
Surgical Section of the Mission.
Has been the overall chairman of the USTMAA Grand Reunion in San Francisco in 2004 and
generated a good sum of money, $10,000 of which was donated to the USTMAAA.
He received the most outstanding UST Alumni Award given by the Thomasians USA California in
2003. He is the current president of the USTMAA of Northern California and has been for the past
5 years. His Association has pledged and will be giving a check in the amount of $25,000.00 for
the Thomasian Alumni Center at the Board Meeting in Chicago on May 27, 2010.
He served as a General Surgeon in the US Army and served in Vietnam during the height of the
Vietnam War. He earned the Bronze Star Medal for exemplary service in Vietnam.
He is the current chairman and president of the Filipino Cultural Center Foundation and has been
for the past 14 years. He raised $250,000.00 for the Filipino American Center at the New Main
Library in San Francisco.
He is the incoming president of the Society of the Philippine Surgeons in America starting this July
16, 2010. This is a group of surgeons all over United States and Canada.
He is a member of the Masonic Columbia Brotherhood Lodge and the Shriners for Crippled
Children in San Francisco. He has been past president of different Social and Civic Organizations
and has received distinguished outstanding awards from each group. He does frequent Golf
Tournaments for the fundraising of the Medical and Surgical Missions.
And best of all he is the loving husband to a beautiful wife Virgie Gualberto and the father to 4
children, 2 boys and 2 girls and the grandfather to 2 beautiful girls.

Doctor Aragones and his wife Lourdes have been married for 52 years. Together, they have four
children: Dr. William Aragones, an Anesthesiologist with his wife Erica and their children Casey,
Lauren, and Jesse; Marita, a computer system analyst with her husband Mathew and their
children Izaak and Kylie; Jamie, interior architect and design for Herman Miller; and Tesa, a
business executive for Nike. When he's not helping the less fortunate, educating the new
generation of physicians or treating patients at his busy Rochester Hills office, Dr. Aragones
enjoys music, playing the violin, gardening, painting, songwriting, golf, and is an avid sportsman.
