Instructions:

1.PlacethePVCbaseboardonaflatsurfacewiththefauxwoodsidedown.The6holeson
theleftsideoutlinethebaseoftheelectronicschamber,andthe10holesontherightside
outlinethebaseofthegrowchamber.

2.Layout2ofthe6punchedanglelengthselectronicssideand2ofthe24punchedangle
lengthsonthegrowsideasshown.

3.Layout2ofthe18punchedanglelengthsontheoutermostsidesofthebaseboardand
anotherontherightsideoftheelectronicschambersideasshown.Securethisbaseframe
withthe1boltsonallnoncornerthroughholes.Usewashersonbothsidesoftheboardand
puttheheadsoftheboltsontheundersideoftheboard.

4.Place1boltsthrough4ofthestandoffsmakingsuretheheadsoftheboltsareonthe
countersunksideofthestandoffs.


5.Insertthesestandoffsthroughthe4outermostcornerholesofthebaseboardwiththe
standoffsontheundersideofthebaseboard.Donotusewashersoneithersideofthebolt.
Makesurethebottomofyourbaseboardmatchesthepicturebelow.

6.SetthePVCmotherboardwallonthetablewiththefauxwoodsidedown.Place2ofthe30
punchedanglelengthsalongthelengthoftheboard.Use1boltswithwashersoneachsideto
securethe30lengthstotheboardthroughthe4aligningnoncornerthroughholes.Orientthe
boltssuchthatheadsareonthepunchedanglesideofthewall.

7.Place1ofthe18punchedanglelengthsalongthetopofthemotherboardwallandusea1
bolttosecurethe18lengthatitscenterthroughthePVCmotherboardwall.

8.Nowalignthemotherboardwallperpendiculartothebaseboard,withthepunchedangle
partssecuredtothemotherboardwallfacingthegrowchambersideasshown.Place1moreof
the18punchedanglelengthsatthebaseofthemotherboardwallonthegrowchamberside.
Securethe18lengthtothemotherboardwalland18lengthontheothersideusing1bolts
withnowashersatthetwobottomcornersandsinglecenterthroughhole.Orienttheboltssuch
thatheadsareonthegrowsideofthemotherboardwall.

9.Settheframeonitssidetoinsertthelaststandoffsand1boltsthroughthebaseboardsuch
thatthebottomlooksasshown.Forthelast2standoffs,donotusewashers.Fortherest,use
washersonlyonthebottomofthebaseboard.Tightenallboltsandstandoffswiththeratchet
andcrescentwrench.

10.Peelthepaperoffthebacksofthe6antiskidpadsandstickthemtothestandoffsas
shown.


11.Putthe1anglebracketsontheboltendsontheelectronicssideofthemotherboardwall.
Orientthebracketsasshownbelow.Secureeachendwith1boltsandnowashers.

12.Usethe230punchedanglelengthsastheverticalpostsontheoutermostelectronics
chamberside,makingsurethattheendofthelengthwiththecutthroughapunchedholeis
towardsthetop.Usetheboltstosecurethebases,withwashersontheoutsidebutnotthe
insideofthepunchedanglecorners.Makesuretheintersectionsbetweenanglepartsare
approximatelyperpendicular.

13.Usethelast230punchedanglelengthsfortheoutermostverticalpostsonthegrow
chambersideoftheframe.Again,useboltswithwashersontheoutsideandnottheinside
ofthepunchedanglecorners.Makesuretheintersectionsbetweenanglepartsare
approximatelyperpendicular.

14.Installthetop18anglepartdepthsonthefarthestleftandrightsidesoftheassemblywith
theboltswithwashersontheoutsideheadsidesofthebolts.Installthetop6widthsonthe
electronicschamberside,securingthetwooutercornerswithboltswithwashersonthetop
side.

15.Placethegrowsidetopwidth24angleparts,makingsuretheyareplacedabovethe18
topdepthpartsbutinsidetheverticalposts.

16.Getatopdownviewoftheassemblynow,byeitherstandingonthetableorbringingthe
assemblydownontothefloor.Securethe6cornerswiththelastbolts,withheadsand
washersonthetopoftheframeandnutswithoutwashersontheunderside.
17.Dosomelastadjustingiftheframeiscrooked.Checkeachcornertomakesureallpairsof
anglebracketareperpendiculartoeachother.Youmayhavetodosomelooseningand
retighteningofbolts.
18.Nowtomakethesealbetweenthemainframeandjacket.Takeyourweatherstrippingand
linethebaseofthePVCbaseboardonthegrowsidewithit.Makesuretheedgeofthe
weatherstrippingisrightalongtheedgeofthebasebutnotprotrudingovertheedgeasthiswill
makeslidingtheclamshelljacketoverdifficultorimpossible.Dothesamealongtheedgeofthe
growsideofthePVCmotherboardwall.

19.Now,weatherstriparoundtheedgeofthePVCmotherboardwallcutoutontheelectronics
chamberside.Thiswillactasthesealwhentheelectronicspanelispressedagainstthe
weatherstrippingandboltedontothemotherboardwall.

20.Takethelasercutfrontupperplateandbackplateandinstallontofrontandbackfacesof
thepunchedangleframeontheelectronicsside,respectively.Usetheboltsandwashers
ontheouterfaceandjustnutsontheinnerface.


21.Find20ofthemagnetsandputVHBtapeontooneside,makingsurethepolarityorientation
isthesameforall20.Tape4ofthemagnetsalongthepunchedanglethatoutlinestheplaceof
thefrontlowerplateand6ofthemagnetsalongthepunchedanglethatoutlinestheplaceofthe
sideplate.

22.Putthefrontlowerplateagainstthepunchedangle,andalignanothersetofmagnetswith
thosetapeddirectlytothepunchedangle.Tapethenewmagnetsontothefrontlowerplate.

23.Dothesamewiththelast6magnetsandthesideplate.

Thisisthewetlabsectionthatsitsunderneaththeelectronicsmotherboard.Itcontainsthe
materialsforwaterchemistrybalancingandmanagingayeastreactorandalsoincludessome
safetyequipment.

Yeastreactor:Drillaholeinthelidofthebioreactorbottle.Hotgluetheonewayvalveinto
theopening,makingsurethatthearrowonthevalveispointingupwards,outofthebottle.Cut
2ofthetubingandpushoneendontotheonewayvalveandroutetheotherthroughthe
bottomleftholeintheelectronicspanelthroughtothegrowchamberside.Thebottlebehind
theyeastreactorisfilledwithsugar.

Totherightoftheyeastreactorbottlearethefourfertilizerbottles.Twocontaindryfertilizer
whiletheothertwocontainsolutionsofthefertilizersinwater.Behindthosefertilizerbottlessits
thepHbalancingkit.
