 1- GENERAL

The Manufacturer shall present an offer covering all the requirements of this Order Specification,
where else applicable.

2- GUARANTEE

The Contractor shall guarantee the Equipment at least until the date designated below, whichever
comes first:

A) 24 months after the shipment of the Equipment.

B) 12 months after the delivery of the vessel to the Owner.

Any defect and/or failures discovered within the Guarantee period, whose causes shall be
attributed to the Contractors responsibility, shall be immediately repaired or replaced by the
Contractor at the Contractors expenses.

The repaired or replaced parts shall be guaranteed additionally for 12 (twelve) months after the
repairs or the replacements have been carried out.

3- DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING

The above mentioned items have to be designed and manufactured according to the following
standards and rules (where applicable):

a) Det Norske Veritas (DNV);

4- TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

The scope of supply consists of cable to install in the vessel.

- Halogen free properties: IEC 60754-1-2;
- Low Smoke emission: IEC 6134-1/2;

All cables to comply with Class requirements.
All cables should manufactured with marking distance to each meter, pined in the cable

All cables shall be DNV certificated and supplied with certificate.
All cables shall be manufactured with the following text printed throughout entire cable

Scope of Supply:

4.1 Ethernet twisted pair

For Ethernet with twisted pair it is recommended to use a S/FTP (individual twisted pair foils and
overall braid) cable of category 7.

4.2 Ethernet fiber optical

The fiber optical cables must be of multimode type with a core diameter of 50 m, and cladding diameter
125m. ST connectors (also known as BFOC) are to be used in both ends of the cable.

4.3 Can bus

For the CAN bus, it is recommend using a shielded twisted pair cable. According to the ISO 11898-2
standard, cables to be chosen for CAN bus lines should have a nominal impedance of 120 Ohm, and a
specific line delay of nominal 5 ns/m. Line termination has to be provided through termination resistors of
120 Ohm located at both ends of the line. The length related resistance should have 70 mohm/m.

All necessary drawings and technical information for the correct application and installation of the
equipment .
Quality assurance certificates.
DNV certificates.
Manufacturer certificates and Guarantee certificate shall be also provided for each one equipment
when applicable.

6- INSPECTION AND TEST

All necessary inspections and tests shall be carried out during manufacturing process according to
manufacturers standards and Classifications Society requirements.

7- CERTIFICATIONS

As required by DNV Rules.

The type approval certificates of equipment shall be delivered with the technical/commercial proposal.
