STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP):
1. Load the job on the trolley & press Power button (S 1) to start
Shot Blasting Machine.
2. Switch ON the DC Fan button (S2).
3. Switch ON the Elevator button (S3).
4. Start the Cross Screw Conveyer by pressing Cross Screw
Conv. Start (S4) button.
5. Switch ON the long screw conv 1 (S5).
6. Switch ON the long screw conv 2 (S6).
7. Switch ON the long screw conv 3 (S7).
8. Switch ON the long screw conv 4 (S8).
9. Push the Abrasive 1 button (S9) to open door and load the
abrasive in the Hopper.
10. Push aside the Limit hook on the trolley and the push
the Trolley 1-2 Forward (S15) button to carry in the job
placed on the trolley.

11. Push the Trolley Stop button (S 16) once the trolley
reaches the appropriate position.
12. Close the gates of shot blasting m/c housing.
13. Worker goes in after wearing safety gloves, safety
shoes safety apron and clothes. Puts on the Air Supply
Hamlet.
14. Compressed Air Inlet Valve is opened by the operator
outside.
15. Abrasive nozzle is opened and the process of shot
blasting is started.
16. Manhole gate is closed.
17. Once the blasting is completed, the abrasive valve is
closed.
18. Compressed air inlet valve is closed.
19. Remove the abrasives from trolley using compressed air
which is again supplied to hopper.
20. Open the gates of Shot Blasting Machine Housing.
21. Switch ON the Trolley 1-2 reverse (S30) button to take
the job out.
22. Push Stop button (S17).
23. Remove the job from trolley and paint within 2 hours.
