Designed by award-winning architect Yaakov Rechter and the vision of arts

This landmark New York Hotel, located in the heart of the City, has been home to creative
minds and distinguished guests for nearly a century. The Hotel is a modern take on a
traditional grand New York Hotel, with its custom-designed, handcrafted furnishings and
a rotating collection of 20th-century Artwork, including masterpieces from Andy Warhol
and Jean-Michel Basquiat. The Hotels 21st-century facelift from Oscar-nominated
director and artist Julian Schnabel focused on a distinct Renaissance-revival concept
incorporating the vivid colors of the era with bold hues on the walls, upholstery and
carpets. The furniture was specially imported from markets around the world. The result
is an ambiance that is regal, relaxed and ultimately, transporting.
In keeping with the neighborhoods industrial history, the hotel faade has been kept
minimalist. The exterior of brick, stone and glass pays homage to the surrounding
urban landscape. Interiors of the hotel were created by the internationally acclaimed
designer Kit Kemp. The centerpiece of the Crosby Street Hotel lobby is a stunning
work by Scottish paper cutout artist Jack Milroy.
With an eye for modern design whilst reflective of the past, the 200 guest suites that
make up QT Sydney hotel have been carefully crafted within the historic Gowings
and State Theatre buildings. This boutique Sydney accommodation retains many
of the buildings most distinctive features, such as the blend of Gothic, Art Deco,
and Italianate influenced architecture that form the dazzling exterior of the building.
With a contemporary and, at times, quirky design, all guestrooms feature creature
comforts such as luxurious bedding, walk-in showers and most guest suites also
offer an indulgent oversized soaking tub.
Stretching across two iconic heritage-listed buildings The Clare Hotel pub and the Carlton
& United Breweries Administration Building the hotel has been constructed with obsessive
attention to aesthetics and concern for retaining the interesting features of both buildings.
Rooms on the first three levels provide an unpretentious yet luxurious, semi-industrial feel
and showcase the heritage aspects of the buildings with exposed brick, concrete, and timber
paneling. Rooms on the top level are loft style with a more contemporary feel and include a
generous lounge with bed and bathroom on an upper floor.
Hotel rooms have taken inspiration from the Australian shack. Clay rendered
walls, salvaged oak beds, overhead rain showers, and windows that open.
Each room has been dressed with carefully chosen artworks, objects and

Mythical and imposing, languid and frenetic, Pigalle is a neon light in the Parisian night.
The neighbourhood has always attracted thugs and artists, musicians and adventurers.
Therefore hotels history was shaped by the cultural mix that swirls on the southern
slopes of Montmartre. All the rooms have a strong Parisian identity. They are decorated
in the style of the area, known as La Nouvelle Athnes for its neoclassical architecture,
which inspired artists and poets in the late nineteenth century. And they convey a
specific image of Pigalle: historic, modern, decadent, multicultural, musical. They are
simple and comfortable, full of domestic touches, more like a friends bedroom than a
cookie-cutter hotel room. Each is a collection of objects, souvenirs, music, books and
second-hand furniture, with a personality all of its own.
The hotel was built in 1854 and has witnessed the dramatic evolution
of this neighborhood which includes the Haut-Marais, Beaubourg and
the Saint Martin Canal. The decor of the Hotel Providence personifies
a typical Parisian atmosphere: a cosy fire place, architectural details,
Pointe de Hongrie wooden floors, and marble mosaics. Each room
is individually decorated with designer fabric and tastefully chosen
vintage furniture.
In close collaboration with Christophe Pillet, Shah Kalaidjian, the hotels director,
has created a venue that bears the stamp of authenticity. Noble and natural
material, specially designed furniture combined with contrasting tones exudes
cosmopolitan and Zen-like atmosphere. The rooms and suites are in style of
perfect bachelor pads. Floors laid with wide boards of dark wood, covered with
deep pile tomato red or mustard tone rugs, grey stone from Cascais on the wall.
Executive swivel chairs and swept chrome stools by Driade sit by brushed teak
finish desks, which are inset with steel light fittings.
The facade of the 19th-century building was restored to its immaculate former glory,
with a white palette that carries on from the exterior through to the rooms and
common spaces. The interiors of a great Paris hotel showcase design by acclaimed
architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, who focused on environmental sustainability
and local integration. Distinct features such as French pavement in the entrance,
natural wood panelling in the corridors and rooms, long roaring fireplaces and retro
lighting, lend the minimal interiors a coziness and authenticity.
At Domaine des Andols, the organic shapes and colors that define the Provenal
landscape take on new meaning in juxtaposition to its pure lines, bespoke spaces, and
very personal collection of art and furniture. Paintings once found in museums now
hang at the hotel, while exhibitions, organized in collaboration with Parisian gallery
Kammel Mennour, surround guests with the work of photographers such as Nobuyoshi
Araki, Ellen Von Unwerth, and Daido Moriyama. Klieg lights making a fitting design
touch in a hotel that can feel like both a showcase gallery and a warm, welcoming
home to its appreciative guests who journey here from around the world.
New life has been breathed into the historic former residence of the noble family
de Tourrel dAlmeran from Saint-Rmy. The outstanding architecture of this
private mansion dating back to the 17th century inspired Ralph Huesgen and
Margot Staengle to incorporate more than three centuries of life into the design,
with 1920s flair and a hint of modernity. Interiors are appointed with handmade
furniture, lamps, beds & bed linen, parquet floors and natural stone bathrooms.
Housed in the historic 1890s Zenovitch Apartment, the hotel opened in April 2010.
Renovated by Turkish design collaborator - international award-winning Autoban
Design firm - the building retains its original shuttered faade, marble staircase and
ceramic tiled reception. In stark contrast to the subtle wall decorations, the hotels
floors are a study in swirling crests and hexagons, which also appear on certain
ceilings, handrails and screens. Brass-studded leather sofas in the roof lounge
hug a sizzling fireplace carved from solid stone, tucked beneath exposed wooden
beams.
Brand new hotel set within a beautiful Victorian mansion. Although playfully
decorated, comfort is considered at every turn. Beds are at least a 5ft king-size
and showers are wonderfully powerful. Although the original features in these
Victorian bedrooms take precedent, luxurious bathrooms are distinctly modern.
The Galloping Major restaurant is situated in what was once the original owners
ballroom. Huge windows open the room out to the park, bringing the light in and
highlighting amazing original features.
Over 300 years ago DAS TRIEST was a staging post on the horse-drawn mail coach
route between Vienna and Trieste. The challenge of DAS TRIEST was to transform
the dated hotel Stadt Triest into a unique boutique hotel, characterised by stylish
contemporary design and subtle luxury. Today it is an outstanding example of
how to successfully combine a modern look with a traditional building. The old
vaulted stables have become salons, suites and conference rooms equipped with
state-of-the-art technology while featuring the distinctive flair of DAS TRIEST.
These brand new apartments have just been opened & are situated in a XIX
century building where the past meets the present. The architect preserved the
neoclassical socialist faade while also cleverly drawing ones attention to the
hotels black-and-white checkered patio, which not only serves as a lobby but as a
venue for important cultural events. Award-winning designer Mariola Tomczak used
calm color tones, natural oak floors, and glass walls between the bedroom and the
bath areas to brilliantly open up the hotels interior space. Original works by Polish
photographer and fine artist Rita Zimmerman give each suite its own individual feel,
while the buildings historical character is emphasized through the preservation of
its high ceilings.
A newly built two-story retreat, Hotel B Design & Spa does a marvelous job of fitting
in with the rustic farmhouses and sweet-smelling lavender fields of rural Provence.
Inside, designer Christophe Pillet has emphasized swooping modern contours and
broad open spaces. Glass panes scatter the light that streams in through black
slatted doors, illuminating open spaces, while understated yet ultra-comfortable
sofas and armchairs designed by Pillet and French upholstery pioneers Neology
provide somewhere to enjoy the simplicity of the design. Everything you see
from the solid wooden tables to the black metal balustrades has been built with
quality in mind.
South Place is a luxury five-star hotel in the City of London. 80 bedrooms are
all designed by Conran + Partners, blending modern technology with comfort;
theyre perfect for those travelling for work or play. Conrans iconic signature
continues throughout; across the ground floor brasserie, our Michelin-starred
rooftop seafood restaurant, our bars, dens and terraces. Even the meeting and
event spaces, and the spa and gym feature their creative stamp. Inspired details
and playful touches mirror the vibrant neighborhood, a deft mixture of the
contemporary City, Londons most historic quarters and the achingly cool East
End.
One more hotel created by a top interior designer Kit Kemp. Her classically British
aesthetic pays careful attention to each room, filling it with modern English style,
featuring clean neutrals and bold colors. Art lovers will adore the Carol Sinclair
sculpture that rises like stalagmites from the floor, but the art does not overshadow
Kemps signature harmonious mixture of patterns, fabrics, and furniture styles.
In the midst of Soho and moments from Mayfair, Ham Yard Hotel has
an urban village feel. The hotel revolves around a tree-filled garden
with a bronze sculpture centrepiece by Tony Cragg. Interiors are
designed by Kit Kemp in her award-winning modern British style. Her
innovative mix of colour, pattern, texture and art is world renowned
and her flair is perfectly showcased in the unique rooms and suites
of the hotel. Each room is generously sized and features floor-to
ceiling-length windows overlooking the leafy courtyard or across the
London skyline.
The Covent Garden Hotel is a haven of discreet glamour in the heart of Covent
Garden, attracting a discerning, well-heeled clientele from the film and media
industries. The drawing room at the Covent Garden Hotel is tucked away on the
hotels first floor providing a private and exclusive area for guests. It is a spacious,
wood-paneled room with vivid upholstery, a French stone fireplace and quirky
furniture. It leads into the more intimate Tiffanys Library with a fireplace and
honor bar.
