Guettler to the Estate
Planning & Tax Group.
Mr. Guettler will focus
his practice on estate
planning, business
transactions, tax exempt organizations and corporate
taxation. He has represented individuals with
complex business and real estate holdings as well as
owners of closely held corporations in structuring
their estate plan and multi-generational business
transactions. In addition, he has represented
financial institutions and individual clients in the area
of fiduciary administration.
Mr. Guettler, a native of Fort Pierce, recently
earned his graduate law degree (LL.M) in Taxation
from the University of Florida’s Levin College of
Law with high honors. He holds an undergraduate
degree in Finance and his Juris Doctor degree,
also from the University of Florida. He is a past
vice-president and president of the Port St. Lucie
Bar Association and also served on the Board of
Trustees for the St. Lucie County Law Library.

recently recovered 2.4 million dollars on behalf of a young mother whose leg as

vehicle. Fortunately, the settlement proceeds allowed her to obtain medical care from a
leading orthopedic reconstructive surgeon and to establish a trust to provide for her family.
RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED
Probate Litigation GCF successfully represented a client
whose sister was unduly influenced by an outsourced caregiver into changing her Last
Will and Testament shortly before she died. The new Will gave nearly all of the assets
and personal property to the caregiver, and nothing to the family. The GCF Team sued the
caregiver in order to invalidate the Will on the grounds that the caregiver unduly influenced the
client’s sister to changer her Will and disinherit her family. As a result of the investigation, a
settlement was reached whereby the Client received approximately half of her late sister’s assets
and all of her sister’s personal property, which included over $150,000.00 in family jewelry.
