Introduction

ThetwoyearandRestaurantManagementprogramwillgiveyoutheexpertise
and practical skills you need to pursue a supervisory or management career in the
growing hotel and restaurant industry locally and internationally. As a hotel and
restaurantservicestudent,Ithelpsustouseourstudiedinfuturejob.

Onthejobtraining(OJT)isoneofthebesttrainingmethodsbecause,Itplanned,
organize,andconductedattheemployeesworksite.OJTwillgenerallybetheprimary
method used for broadening employee. It is particularly appropriate for developing
proficiencyskilluniquetoanemployeesjob.Especiallyinthejobsthatarerelatively
easytolearnandrequirelocallyownedequipmentandfacilities.

Man this report help the order the student achieves the objectives of each
functional and rules. Help them develop their skills and competence and more
importantlymakestudentrealizeandknowthattheOnthejobtrainingcouldhelpthem
towidertheirknowledgeandenhancetheirskills,aswellas,theproperentertaintothe
guest,properhygiene,propergroomingandetc.

Ivebeenassignedinthediningarea,firstthingIhavetodoisIshouldbealwaysfocus
and alert. When I was first assigned in dining my shift is closing. The area of my
responsibility is the dining. So I always make sure, when it is already 10:00pm
everythingisallcleared.
thetaskthatIhavetodoonceIstartmyshiftuntilbeforeweclosethestoreare: wipethe
glassdoor,mirror,andwindow,cleantherestroomandmopthefloorofrestroominthe
diningallaroun,Wipethetable&chairs,setupthetablearrangeitorderly, putiing
utensilsonproperplaces.Everythingshouldbecleanedbeforeweclosethestore.

Ihavelearnedsomanyvaluesaboutthisexperience.First,Iknewnowhowtohandlethe
guestproperlybecauseexpectthattherewouldbevarietyofpeoplewhoyoucanmeetat
thestore.TheyhavedifferentattitudesandpersonalitiesthatIreallyneedtocopeup
with.SoImustsayIshouldbecarefulinallmyactions andneedtobecomeopen
minded.Ishouldalsobecomenicetowardsthemwhateverthesituationhappenedeither
theyarerudeornot,Ishouldmaintaintheprofessionalism.Notjustthat,whenitcomes
toservingthem,Ishouldalsohavetobecarefulgivingthemtheirorderswithright
approachingwordstothem.

oneofthesuccessfulrestaurantbecauseoftheirmonthlyincome.
Therestaurantgivesthemmoreincomelotsofgivescommentstotheserviceand
beinghospitable.

Irecommendtolayupthegoodworkandcontinueagoodqualityservices,
becomefriendlytoeverybosy.Keepgreetingw/granddamevowtoallguest.Also
maintainthecleanlinessandsanitarypractices,sowecanavoidaccidentcontamination
andcontinuehospitable.

CONCLUSION

ThereforeIconcludemanystudentrealizeandknowthattheOnTheJobtraining
(OJT)couldhelpthemtowidertheirknowledgeandenhancetheirskills.Aswellasthe
properentertainingtheguestgivesproperhygieneandetc.

OnTheJobtrainingtheygavealeveluptheselfconfidence,toknowmorething
onthefuturejob.Inhowtodisciplinetheirselvesintimemanagement,agoodobserver,
andgoodinterrelationtocoemployees.
